Wonderful news for St Helens as a historic sporting venue and the obvious ambitions of the Ospreys. Lets all get behind the team and push on for titles and trophies.
Absolutely fantastic news and the only choice really, such history & heritage in a wonderful "Swansea" location. St Helens can now become the ground and club house it once was which has been in slow deterioration over the years. Bridgend sadly was a great ground but has been sold off and off and become a pitch in a Tesco car park.🏉
Brilliant. Delighted at that choice. Bridgend's brewery field is great and I hope we can still take games on the road maybe....ideally the annual Cardiff clash... but right choice has been made. Lance's comments about the fan zone makes me very positive that we are going to get numbers through the turnstiles up. Hopefully parking in the field next door can be sorted as the last piece of the jigsaw. Great work guys
As Lance has said: "Our investment demonstrates our confidence not only in the plans we have both on and off the pitch, but also our confidence in the future of Welsh rugby and the plans being developed by the Welsh Rugby Union.”
@OspreysTV, thanks for the response and clarification. Cutting a side would be a terrible decision. Cutting the Ospreys given comparative performances of all the pro sides would be absurd.
Great news …. it’s as I envisaged how it should be developed. There was no mention of disability access and viewing facilities, one thing the Liberty stadium is excellent for. Have these been built into the plans?
Exciting times ahead by the looks of things. Loved the visual of how the ground will look with all the Ospreys branding on the stands/roof etc.
Fantastic and exciting news and look forward to continuing watching Ospreys at a proper rugby venue 😀👏🙌
Great work

Well done Lance and Co. We're in good hands.
Really good choice.
While I'm happy with the decision, are we confident that the WRU won't cut a region and that if they do it won't affect the Ospreys?

Hey up las, we're going to the beach! Who's got the barbie?
Fantastic news but I really hope they don't cut us because they couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery
