Yeah I never really minded the visual style of Metal Sonic VS Zero (although I still have issues with the sound design). For whatever reason, the 3D renders just capture that weird PS1 era feel
I liked the use of Zero’s voice clips in that battle.
I got an idea to fix for Scrooge McDuck vs shovel Knight set up how shovel Knight be trying to stop robbers from robbing scrooge's Manor accidentally falls into a chest before you can explain Scrooge McDuck is already on the offensive since he's greedy

Ah the first season I watched. With Lara VS Nathan being the first episode. I watched it a few days after Scrooge VS Shovel came out. Every day I wake up and think about how close Venom VS Bane came to being my first Death Battle episode.
I still don't get why you don't have more subs than that, your videos are pure quality!

Honestly this is minor but the thing I hate most about Scrooge vs. Shovel Knight is because they left out one major key detail about Shovel Knight: He can reflect projectiles with his shovel if he times it right. He could've reflected Scrooge's shots back at him just saying

So, if I were to make my own Death Battle episode, here's what my matchup idea would be: Mighty the Armadillo vs Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. The theme between these 2 characters is lost or forgotten characters/mascots.
Wouldn't Ray fit that mold too?

I actually hate that matchup for 1 simple reason... MIGHTY WAS NOT CREATED BEFORE SONIC!!! Yes, 1 of the concepts for Sega's original mascot was probably an armadillo, but he was never meant to be Mighty specificly! And Felix the Cat is a much better Oswald opponent!
