Remember how Izzy just bounched off them like he kicked six feet of solid concrete? It was crazy. He also checked literally 16/16 of Rakic's kicks. It's like his shins are magnetic. No matter how well dressed or how fast a kick is, Jan's shins just teleport into them and check the kick.

Humble Ankalaev was crying and yelling 'give me the belt' despite clearly losing rounds 2 & 3 and at best scraped by in a razor close round 1 (all 3 judges gave round 1 to Jan, mind you). If anything he should be grateful that 2/3 judges gave him a 10-8 for the 5th, or else Jan wins by split decision (even with judge Cleary outrageously awarding the 3rd round for Ankalaev)

Jan won 1, 2 & 3. Ankalaev won 4 & 5, 5 potentially being 10-8. Even if you score it differently such as Ankalaev 1, 4 & 5 (meaning he wins), or Ankalaev only 4 & 5 but without the 10-8 (meaning Jan wins), the score remains extremely similar and either man could've won by 1 point. So regardless, it wasn't a robbery. I personally had Jan winning 48-47. He landed the more damaging shots in the first three, and didn't get beat up enough to lose the 5th 10-8.

The division is going back to what it was before 2011, I'd argue that it hasn't been stable since before UFC 214, since then the belt was won by Jones then given back to Cormier, then vacated a year later, then won back by Jones, but of Jones's 3 title defenses of the belt, only 1 was a clear-cut win for him. Jones's title wins against Santos and Reyes were controversial, and many fans agree that he should've lost the belt to Reyes.

That questionable Unanimous decisions or basically all split decisions should be transformed into draw. Those decisions led to many fights being very boring with fighters not wanting to risk at all.

That Russian translator screwed Ankalaev over and made Dana mad at him, Just like how he translated Umer Nurmagomedov post fight words from "May there peace in Ukraine 🇺🇦" into "I WANNA THANK RUSSIA 🇷🇺" and made the audience boo him, He's definitely a Russian KGB.

Ankalaev: "I don't know whether I will continue to perform HERE".
Translator: "I don't know if I'm gonna fight for THIS ORGANISATION again".
Translator was not super precise, but overall pretty fine.
