First-day trail of traffic diversion at Porvorim .

Traffic police are testing a new traffic diversion plan due to ongoing work on the elevated corridor at Porvorim. As part of the trial, traffic will be redirected to service roads near the old Bazaar and Teen Building junctions.

Police should also demarcate the lanes for trucks buses and heavy vehicles as well as lanes for cars and bikes .
Lane changing should not be allowed and fines should be imposed else we will end up with more chaos. But I think traffic dept will implement the above, besides also media should highlight the same
