Why do I find almost all furrys I come across have really cute personalities like bruh how are you so chill almost all the time
Because we do what we enjoy (especially furry youtubers) and its hard to get upset/ not be chill if you're doing something that makes you genuinely happy ^^

Pocari Roo inspired me to get my first fursuit and seeing that its not a sexual thing it makes me confident. I mean, its a little understandable. Apparently, a while ago when they were first a thing (i think) furry was actually a term for people who are segsially attracted to those suits/characters. But that's not what it is anymore! Just a fun hobby and we just enjoy those characters, nothing weird. :) ❤

I sewed an outfit for one my stuffed animals. I now don't know how I even did it cause it turned out amazing.

As a fursuit maker and scalie, I LOVE raptor masks. It gives people an easy entry into making a fursuit AND more scalies pop up in the fandom >:3

Idk if anyone will see this but I'm pretty new to the fandom and I just ordered a raptor mask, any tips for making it? (I don't have access to a lot of fur material so I might make ears but I won't be able to do a full head)

@PurpleBean hmmmm...you can use fur from anywhere from what I can remember. Try thrift shops usually they've got loads of different furs and materials. If it's a small raptor mask...a big fur blanket should do the job.

The fact that the mannequin head "fainted" (aka fell over) when you put the mask back on it after testing how the homemade balaclava worked totally had me laughing (at 5:45 or so)

As a middle school kid, maybe i could go get a dino mask. Ive been wanting a fursuit for SO LONG.. but for now a dino mask is a cheap option i can afford.. i guess i would just want to know how to make the ears lol.

Raptor masks are honestly just a really good skeleton for a jaw moving suit. You can just cover the mask with the fur and no more having to make your own wonky jaw!
The movement with the mouth is just sooo cool

I had a failed attempt at furring a raptor mask, but I decided to take it and make it into a massive puppet :) also Red looks adorable you did such a good job for a first attempt!!
Dino/raptor masks are very good bases for dragon OCs. I recently made a head of my Wings of Fire OC Tang, and it was nice to start off with an already reptilian shaped base. All I really had to do was pad out his face and give him a more SeaWing shaped snout.
I actually find this build quite inspiring, and it really makes it tempting to try something like it some day :)
I’m glad you’re still around. A lot of furs that I used to look up to when I was younger have either left the fandom or changed into something so toxic. But you’re still here and you’re still Pocari. And I’m glad.

OMFG. Red is so adorable. And I’m not a Jurassic Park Dino brother but on a Dino mask brother non the less. I’m thinking of buying one if each and do the t-Rex as a cosplay of Solon from Power Rangers Dino Fury. And for the velociraptor that I buy, maybe another version of Bruzo.

also if your younger dino masks are a great option since they are 1. made for kids 2. cheap 3. easy to decorate and also most fursuit makers dont make usually make fursuits for kids since your still growing

Btw a thing I do with my masks is when gluing on the eyes I glue them to the inside, and put the eyeliner/ eyelashes on the outside. Also about a year ago I tried to fur a mask and it went terribly. I am very impressed.

I love raptor masks especially because, for younger furries that dont have enough money to buy a fursuit AND are still growing, these are perfect, theyre cheap and adjustable and change as you grow, which makes them accessible and still customizable for them!

I have two dino masks atm and both have fur hoods, eyes, paws, and one has a kirigumi! I've made 4 dinomask fursuits before, they are amazing to work with and you can do alot!

Pocari, i am now inspired to make my dino mask similar to this (diff colors and ear size) but its just super cool!
If you do this again, i sugest painting the mask and then doing the other furring like the ears and stuff. As a current dino mask furry, it will be easier to move the jaw and may just look a bit cleaner. But over all it looks amazing!
