Great video! We went from Sheridan, Wyoming to Cody, Wyoming in 2020 starting in Monroe, Louisiana and going up through your area then on to Omaha to see my sister then across South Dakota. The cool thing is once you get up there you’re so close to so many more places! Your teaser for next week reminded me of my latest trip to Devils Den State Park two weeks ago. I burned my brakes up coming down Hwy 71 into Devils Den (not recommended for a 30’ Class C but I never saw a sign the entire way from Lake For Smith. Thank god for the man who works at Camping World Lowell (George Nelson) who happens to live in West Fork and came to my rescue because I was on the side of the road near his house. He’s also the only one whI stopped to offer assistance during a 2 hour wait with no cell signal. He patched me up at no charge so I could make it back to Louisiana. Anyway long story shortened (too late) I just got my RV back from my local long time mechanic $2600 in brake repairs 🤢 and now I’m having to switch my Yellowstone trip to a Car-v/hotel trip. Not complaining though because at least I still get to go.
Oh my gosh! We were lucky to find out that our brakes were squeaky from overheating but ok to keep using. Devil’s Den is right by our home base! That road is intense and we haven’t tried it in the motorhome! Glad you still get to go on your trip - it’s such a cool place!
Yes! I’ve been thinking back on this and how many enormously tall RVs we see. There must be another way around, luckily we didn’t have to figure that out!
There were a few other people camped there, but it’s a small campground and can’t accommodate rigs much bigger than ours - so that and the no pets rule probably keep it from getting too crowded.

Weather has been crazy in Colorado this spring. Just nuts with the rain, hail, tornadoes….

Are you guys using a rv driving app so you avoid places your rv won’t fit?
No, we just read about each specific place. This one was clear about it’s length limits on the campground website.
