  • Los Angeles is a massive city with so much to see as a tourist or visitor. I wanted to make this video to spotlight the LA area and to share some of the best spots to explore if you visit. I spent a lot of time researching and getting content for this video, so I hope it provides a good understanding of the city and helps you get out and explore LA in the new year. Let me know what I left off in the comments.
You can read more about all of these spots at californiathroughmylens.com/t...

It's Private or you can pay 8 bucks and take public transportation (8 bucks for the entire day). I don’t know why people hate public transportation. Our public transportation is trash but it does enough. You can cover a lot taking the bus and train vs being stuck in traffic with a car.

Unless you like congested traffic, horrible smog, superficial & rude uptight people without a sense of humor, sports teams and fans who are the epitome of arrogance, overpriced food & beverages, limited tourist attractions & gushing over folks in the entertainment industry, you will be bored with LA.
The only worthwhile place to go in LA is Universal Studios...and even part of that location is situated in another city.

I could not believe how rude the people were down there. Three places literally refused to let me sit down or offer any kind of break. Just cruel.
There's a reason why I've loathed that city for many years.
You are also correct on the homeless issue. My aunt died homeless years ago & their city leadership is doing a piss poor job addressing the issue.

You'll enter/sign in at the Raleigh gate on Bronson and just tell them you're going to their cafe. You'll stroll down their back lot to access the cafe. @@Red-pt6rs It depends. Food is cheaper but also fresher in LA than NYC. Rent is more expensive in NYC metro than LA metro, but if you are looking to buy a house, its more expensive in LA metro than NYC metro. In fact LA has the 2nd most expensive homes for purchase in the continental U.S. after the San Francisco Bay Area. Also if you purchase and maintain a car in LA that's a big added expense many New Yorkers don't have.

The bowl has a list of practices you can enjoy for free and even bring a picnic lunch. I would also mention the best free attraction in LA, the Nethercutt Museum in Sylmar, the greatest auto museum in the U.S. Another cool experience is to catch movie night at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery, way more fun than it sounds.
