I know that is the worst feeling a mother can feel knowing there is nothing you can do to help her because of fear and what they believe to be love. I remember crying herself to sleep over my sister. My sister came to live with us for a while she was doing okay, but he found a way to get her and the kids back with him.

I'm glad her date showed up and gave Noah a taste of his own medicine. Whether it's a male or female staying in a toxic relationship is not healthy. Have the courage to leave before it turns deadly.
I agree with what you're saying. It's just that getting away from them is not always an option. As you saw, he thought he owned her. Some men will follow a woman clear across the country. Most times the police and the courts are useless. They say that their hands are tied until he crosses a line in the sand. Too often when he crosses that line, the police are much too late. Not many of us have a knight in shining armour and not all of us are lucky enough to survive.

The same this is happening to my family right now, i got back from my dads sisters house, but hes always talking behind his back about my mom and my stepdad and stuff. Those years when it started was torture. He threatened my grandfather over A DENTIST APPOINTMENT. My dad and my aunt/my dads sister hates my mom. reason why i like going to my dads sisters house is because of my cousins, they make me feel happy all the time. Just wish my dad was nicer and normal.
