Wow! Silver, silver, silver! It always amazes me that I lived and worked a job while silver dimes and quarters where the norm ! I was 18 years old in 1962, I could have ranked in the silver had I only known! But I didn’t start collecting and hunting coins until about 4 or 5 years ago.😢

Oh, by the way… I am from Greenville Illinois, just south of you, interesting! Blessings to you and your family! Keep up the videos they are great! Thanks for sharing! I forgot to mention, I live in the country just a couple miles outside of town. Jesse James used to come here, our yard connects to a neighbors yard where there used to be a racetrack behind the big house they used to call a mansion, I have always wanted to metal detect the ground that has been untouched, we moved here in 1974 and I am sure there was sideline betting going on or money was exchanged hand to hand betting on horse races.

Also check the 42-D Mercs for another 42/1 variety. Although the Denver version of the 42/1 is not as easy to detect, it is still a valuable coin as well.

I've never found silver hunting but the other day k was taking coins back and in the coin machine reject there was a silver quarter and 3 silver dimes

I've been holding onto $170.00 rolls of quarters($100.), dimes($50.), and Nickels($20.). Been busy n don't want to be disturbed once i break them out. We'll see. 👏🏽

It really kinda looked like you had one 3rd from the left in roll 20 (12:34 in the video)... just sayin, LOL. That was a great hunt, but you know it hurts me that you don't look for varieties and errors on the dimes 😝 I love dimes!, but yes, they are hard to look at for very long
