महाराष्ट्र कांग्रेस के कार्यकारी अध्यक्ष और पूर्व मंत्री मोहम्मद आरिफ नसीम खान ने पार्टी की कैंपेन कमेटी से इस्तीफा दे दिया है. कांग्रेस के बड़े नेताओं में शुमार नसीम खान ने आरोप लगाया है कि महाराष्ट्र की 48 लोकसभा सीटों पर महा विकास अघाड़ी (MVA) ने एक भी मुस्लिम कैंडिडेट को टिकट नहीं दिया. गठबंधन को सिर्फ मुसलमानों का वोट चाहिए. बात सिर्फ महाराष्ट्र की ही नहीं है. यूपी और बिहार जैसे राज्यों में भी INDI गठबंधन के दलों ने मुस्लिमों को टिकट बांटने के मामले में कंजूसी दिखाई है. ये दल सार्वजनिक सभाओं में तो मुसलमानों का हमदर्द बनते हैं, लेकिन टिकट नहीं देते हैं. आरोप है कि इन दलों को मुसलमानों का वोट तो चाहिए. लेकिन लोकसभा या विधानसभा में मुसलमानों का प्रतिनिधित्व नहीं चाहिए.
