Chopin is the only thing that makes sense to me....gives me an illusion of happiness and understanding and connection when I'm numb and apathetic. He helps me feel some semblance of sanity when my mind is hallucinating. it's soothing...makes me wonder if other schizophrenics would feel the same. I really enjoy Zimerman's playing he is such a genius.
I don't know about schizophrenics, but being an asburger, I can say I relate. Listening to classical music, especially Chopin, gives me weird feels, like a nostalgia about events which I didn't live, about times I wasn't even born.
Monsieur Crabe that's also how I feel. I start to cry at times and also vividly see "movies" play out in my head they look like real life until I snap out of it.
Monsieur Crabe that sounds so sad. I'm sorry you are "more cold" must feel strange I can relate since there are many days I am extremely apathetic and I don't like it at all. that's when I'm not on certain meds. and certain meds like seroquel make me feel empty and brain dead. I hate it and thankfully I don't have to take it anymore since my new doctor isn't a potato. I will take your advice and learn and to play instrument. perhaps several. thank you. Maybe you can learn too if you don't already. And maybe you won't feel as cold.
is it because of the romantic period? is it because of chopin? because of zimmerman? because of the fall's weather? because of all those? coz for some reason, this little piece is very emotional today!
Dear friends, if anyones has krystian zmerman's rare recordings (i mean which aren't upload in youtube) pleas connectme me in private and if you want. i'll exchange:) thank you
My favorite mazurka

Tatiana Hansen I used to feel like crying, but now, I'm more... cold. You should try playing an instrument, these feelings will get more intense.

Tatiana Laird So, do you have any progress on any instrument? :D
Zimerman is the best Chopin player I know.
Rubinstein?
Ciardulli?
Nikosky?

やはり、Chopinは、天才!こんな、素晴らしい、メロディーラインを、どうやって作り出すんだろうか?🥰
Very nice. Good technique.
it sounds so familiar. i wonder where i have heard it
这是我很小时候听过的,从我爸在大学偷录的磁带里。好多年过去了,我再也没有听过这首曲子,但忘不了它的开头,yesterday oncemore。又是大胡子齐默尔曼。
c est magnifique !
un des plus grands pianistes actuels.
Wspaniałe i ponadczasowe. Mazurki Fryderyka Chopina to kwintesencja polskości.

Chopin, is that you?
Good knowledge
This is so good! Who cares about sound quality when a performance is so passionate! I wonder, did Zimerman himself watched it recently!?
But it still has sound quality?
@yenhoho they were probably some people envying him so bad! anyway isn't that a sort of a magical performance ;)
Polonia!
1:25 Jasinski???
Un gran sapore di Polonia, in questo video... ❤❤❤
he looks like chopin himself
Exactly
Quel chant qui émane de ce Petrof !
A Polish pianist playing with a polished technique lol.
