With Schwarzenegger reprising his role and his daughter was supposed to be the woman working at the Nakotomi building that he was supposed to be visiting, but both he and Alyssa Milano did not want to reprise their films and instead a rewrite was penned and Willis was cast to play the role of a cop not a soldier. Commando is 1 of my favorite action movies of the 80's my dad and I used to watch it all the time when I was a kid. So 3 years ago my roommate and I went on a trip to the coast of san simeon/cambria ca. It was only after we left that I learned not only was this scene filmed on the beach there, but also the scene where he blows up those buildings. But the movie "arachnophobia" was also filmed in Cambria ca. Had I known we would have visited both locations. I was bummbed.
