Dude, great video! I think all the channels you mentioned belong in the top 10! Also, love the tank behind you. I thought it'd be cool to do a FishFam awards kinda like the awards shows we see alot this time of year. Have 3 different divisions between big, medium and small channels. Plants look great and I like the angels! 👍

Yes, those 2 channels are great for people as you can be confident in the information. A lot of us read and put out info but those 2 are speaking from experience. I would say for a new person to the hobby watching the King of DIY, start off in this archive as he has a lot of useful and fun DIY projects.
The top 3 are spot on in that order IMO . I’m not a massive aquarium co op fan but his content is reaching next level.I started watching him on his growth and wanted the tank updates on his one tank at a time series and never seeing that turned me off but I can’t hate love his fish room tours and live stream from time to time. Rachael like you said her information from time to time is just gold... BUT where’s the Central American love! Sadly most of them have stopped producing content or got out of the hobby :/. Or maybe I just don’t know about the active ones
Yea the one tank at a time series was something I liked as well but I think it was a trial to see how many views it would get. There are not to many Cichlid keepers on my radar and a lot of the ones I have seen look to just be searching for that title that will go viral. With the constant growth of YiuTubers I am sure things will change. Thanks for the comment.

Aqua Apprentice thanx well i mostly what people of my age dont keep as we grow older we becoming showoff shiining type so what we like we dont pet we pet to show other we have better than them .so i like shark goiramies guppies n koi .mostly guys here say each other pet big n expensive fishes like rtg etc but i pet what i like bcz animals needs love wether its 1 dollar fish or 100 dollar fish what do u say? ya fishes comes from kolkata i think so well6 i have another channel were i make interviews of biggest fish breeder one u can get at msa entertainment my channel.contact anil patil for it he have huge collection of fishes

B 2me I actually do watch pecktec and he does have a great channel but he didn’t quite make the list for me. He does some of the most unique scapes I have ever seen though. I’m glad you enjoyed the video.
I like a lot of your list, but I generally get bored watching the ones that just do unboxing after unboxing, and basically just advertising inventory for their store. Or the ones who just give you tours of their tanks, fish stores, and such. I want my CZcams to be a resource, not just a way to look at other people's stuff. To me King of DIY is tops. He really goes through how he sets things up, creates natural looking environments, and educates about the fish. His tanks just look more professional.
This TOP 3 is very very fair. Maybe I don't agree with the position of the Aquapros because I don't follow some CZcamsrs that are in higher positions. But let's talk about this top 3. I don't know if The King of DIY deserves the 3rd this year and it is not because I do not like it, but it is because the channel became much more of a 'show' (like Tanked, for example) than a channel focused on fish keeping. Rachel deserves this second place because she gives us very good information on some rare species, she knows what she is doing. What to say about Cory and his crew? They are doing an awesome job, I do not even have to say anything: everybody knows it.
I did try and be as fair as possible and not just let subscriber numbers influence my picks. Steve Poland and Aquapros could have easily swapped positions but in the end they are both great contributors to the community. King of DIY definitely switched it up this year but he still does put a lot of effort into putting out quality videos and I always enjoy his creativeness. Top two we couldn't agree more with. The reason he is not on my list is just because he has been a little inconsistent with releasing videos this past year. I hope to see him come back strong this year because I have been seeing him post lately.

He has been doing CZcams for a long time and has a big subscriber count so I doubt you will stop seeing him on the recommended list. I have heard mixed things about him but if I am being honest I find his stuff to be entertaining. That being said I respect you opinion and I told someone else he has a personality that you will either love or hate.
2017 was a great year for the fish community. A lot of big things happened and it was great to watch. I am glad to be a part of it.
