Hey bro, some nice catches. I Love kayaking especially in dark quiet creek paths. My favorite. Can’t wait till this heat breaks. Great vid as always. Looking forward to some big muskies this year.
I think if you can bring 50% or so to hand fishing top water, you're having a pretty good day. You guys are so fortunate to have a stream like that to fish regularly !!
I agree, we are very lucky in this area to have that and a few other creeks to fish with nice size fish in them. I agree with your 50% assessment. Thanks for tuning in!
I feel for ya buddy! That heat is no joke! Still good to see you out there. That's such a beautiful creek. As always, thanks for taking us along. Hope it cools down a bit for ya! Thank you!
My bro and I have been out 3 times, and I was out with my buddy the Jammer once in the last week. I'm just a state or 2 away and the heat and tropical humidity have been brutal. Fishing has been impacted, but we kept at it and prevailed. Tight lines man. Eric Fishin' Fools CT.
Thanks for tuning in Eric! Yeah it’s been brutal… I’ve been out a few times with my youngest and we caught a few but not the quality or quantity we are use to. Tight lines!
You need to pause for a second before you try to set the hook on top water. Always helps to look away at an angle a little bit from your lure so you can have a delay.
Good advice I’ll try that next time out! I always try to wait but sometimes the blow up is so big and exciting that the natural reaction is to try to set the hook… thanks for tuning in.
I've been fishing in the evenings into the night - Susquehanna North Branch. Some decent insect hatches going on - dry flies. Then a frog popper later on.

Topwater without a doubt is the greatest. As aggressive as smallies are, you would think they’d bite more accurately. Nice vid, T!
Thanks Tony, you would think they would be more accurate… thanks for tuning in my man.
Despite the hot weather you still caught some very nice Smallies Tom!! As always great video. Stay cool out there.
Thanks Jun, I’m trying… thanks for tuning in
This heat is insane 🥵
Love a good topwater day. Way to get out there 🎣
Agreed! Thanks for tuning in!

AWESOME!!! I might have to try the frog… I might get the fly rod out for some smallies too.
