Every time Dan says "What is this, Arin?" and Arin goes "Oh well you know it's just ____" that's how I know he's about to trick Dan into a horror game. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
Best part is knowing that Dan will always get roped into things like this, without fail.
Also knowing the game helps. I watched Manlybadasshero play it! But yes that too. Any time I don’t know the game I’m like “Ah. This is gonna be a fun time. ☺️”
Arin got me again this time. Idk if I like it better when I'm with him or Dan on the joke at least it's not as traumatic as doki doki ill never forgive arin for that

I always enjoy the ever-increasing realization Dan has that things are not as they seem.
Me five minutes in: “Wow, this would make a great horror game.”

The crime scene bit happened and i was jusy there like “oh- oh THIS is what we doing”
I’m whole heartedly did not expect these guys to play this game till a ghoul grumps, this was quite a surprise
But then Dan would know for sure it was a horror game and not just suspect it's a horror game

@nilesmk2131 turns out Paul Rudd, famous actor, plays a character called Ant Man in the marvel movies whose super power is changing size.
I was unaware of this.
I thought of Christian Bale, another actor, who is known for dramatically changing his body for different roles. (The Machinist, American Hustle, Batman, etc.)
I thought Arin was getting the two actors confused (they bear a passing resemblance).

@@aronaranyossy I enjoy taking my time to look at all the details on the maps. There's usually a lot of fun things they throw in there--that's actually why I missed the music. I was concentrating on the visuals
Dan singing "Let's find Larry" in the beginning is actually really impressive. Jumping so smoothly between a whole octave is not as easy as he made it sound.
fr i tried it and my voice was breaking like mad lol. he is a very talented singer. (have you heard the new NSP album yet??)

Say do you remember that time we all broke into Larry's house and tied him up with a rag? Then we took him to the middle of a forest and dumped him in a big plastic bag?
The moment it started in a park and there was a narration about finding an old friend, I started thinking about making a game like this where the character gets interestingly more psychotic until you realize you're actually tracking a serial killer.
Then I got exactly what I was desiring. Very satisfying. :)
