I shopped at Toys R Us on Black Friday once- an experience I will never forget. It was an absolute mad house- barely room to move. I accidentally bumped into someone and said, "Oh, I'm so sorry." She looked at me, smiled and said, "You're still apologizing. You obviously just got here."

I used to work at a 🎯 service desk, and once had someone try to return a huge Lego set and when she handed it to me it just sounded like loose Legos. It was policy to open it (if it was an opened item) just to make sure everything was in there, and they had put CAT FOOD inside to make it sound like the Legos were in it. 🤣🤣🤣🤦♀️ People are wild.

Life IS such a blur! My first born just graduated from high school last week and I feel like I slept through her life. I didn’t. I was/ still am so involved in every aspect of both my kids lives, but it goes so quickly that it just feels like I missed it. 😢 I’ve cried. I’ve rejoiced. I’ve cried some more. She is leaving home in August for university and I know I’ll cry A LOT then. But everyone keeps telling me, “they always come home.” I’m really counting on that. I’m so glad we had our kids 5 years apart because we still have our “baby” at home. Sure he’s 13 years old and 6 feet tall, but he’s still the baby! 😅😂

I love sitting in peace in nature. Every morning I have my coffee on the back porch and watch all the birds buzzing around our yard. I told my husband that I feel like we live in the birds neighborhood, lol. Also, we have tiny chipmunks that come out during that time. So stinking cute!!@ i love that time of day.
I’m like you about returns. But years ago I bought a green bathing suit for the beach vacation. Anyhooo, my skin turned green for the whole week. I took it to return when I go home and they told me I can’t return a bathing suit. I even showed them my skin! 😂
I found out that there IS one Blockbuster store left in the world - in Bend, Oregon! Good memories.
My husband works for Costco. One of the craziest returns he had was someone returning a canoe, they told him it didn’t float correctly.

There is one open Blockbuster in my home state Oregon.
Make sure you add exact amount of water it asks for into the diffuser.. one time I couldn't get mine to diffuse and was losing my mind until I read the description( have no clue how I had those still around lol) and well it said there to put water exactly to the fill line or it won’t diffuse, so that solved for me, hopefully you can fix your cute diffuser as well!!

Hello dear, I believe the humidifier is clogged. Unplug it, take it to the sink pour out the water rinse add vinegar for it to break down the calcium buildup. Once done add water , oil and it should work.
My sister and I used to be pros at Black Friday shopping. Remember the Cabbage Patch Dolls mania from the early 80’s? I went to Sears and stood in a crowd at the auto repair center (the warehouse was back there) as an employee from behind the counter tossed these dolls out to the crowd. I’m surprised I wasn’t trampled. Luckily I was tall, and could catch them. And if you got one you didn’t want, you just tossed it back to someone else. I bought 6 of those dolls that year. (Not all at once). But every niece and nephew got one for Christmas. And yes, Toys R Us would give you big black trash bags to fill and I’d drag it behind me. We had to go up and down each isle in order, no going to whatever isle you wanted. If there was something you wanted in that isle, you got it as you walked by. And you kept going until you walked every isle and then got to the check out. I wouldn’t do it now, but boy did I look forward to that day every year!
Out of all the CZcamsers I watch, I think I like you the best particularly in this video.
Because when you're cleaning you do not tell people what you're doing because we can obviously see what you're doing. I hate when I watch a youtuber, and when they're cleaning they explain to us what we're doing when we can obviously see what they're doing.
My favorite return story is when after I just got married, we got a new duvet comforter and my husband threw it up on the couch not realizing there was a candle behind the couch and it caught on fire. 🔥 It was brand new! He took it back to the store and exchanged it. I still can't believe they took it 😅. It was at bed bath and beyond.

Black Friday when the BIG sales were only on Friday: the stores were advertise ridiculous sales and say “only 5 available , only 6 available, only 10 available and even 1 or 2 available”, that’s why we stood in line at 5am! Sometimes we still didn’t get the deal!
We used to do this with concert tickets at USF with my aunt. All nighters. That was so much fun! (Eventually they started doing a "lottery" so it didn't matter hot long you waited; you might be the 75th person to get tickets.) All the greats: George Strait, Reba, Lorrie Morgan, Brooks & Dunn, .... Such good times.

I worked at Toys R Us for 14 years
Then my kids worked there to. Black Fridays were one of my favorite days to work. I was also one that helped closed the store. Best job ever.
My top “return” story is, I bought a blanket that I ended up wanting to return bc I found a better print. It sat in my car for 1.5 years. The very sad thing is, I worked at the store I needed to return it to. Needless to say I ended up gifting it 6 months later for a Christmas present.
I was always told, finding loose change is a Spirit visiting 😊
Cleaning one room at a time is the best way to go. Multiple tasks are always easier if you deal with them individually. Working at Toys R Us must have been a trip! My first job (at 16) was in a clothing store called T.W. Rogers. There was one lady who came in EVERY WEEK looking for the same item: A black dress in size 22!!!
I returned a lot of baby clothes that I received from my baby shower about a year later, at Target. The employees didn't give me a hard time at all. I've also returned and exchanged unopened boxes of diapers at Sam's Club. I love hanging out with you, Kim! You truly are my internet bestie. You make me want to start making videos myself :)
My husband and I close on our new house at the end of June. It's a 120 year old house with all the natural wood and doors and floors! 😭 my current house was built in 2008 lol I hate all the new and zero character
I saw someone returned a dead tree at Costco. True story. It was basically a crispy stick with a ball of nasty dirt and gnarly roots at the bottom.

The day after Christmas was the day everyone returned things when I worked at Belk Department stores. Plus, my manager was almost trampled by people coming in for the 75% off Hallmark ornaments. He was literally shoved out of the way and had tonhold onto the door to keep from falling. Those were some crazy days!
There is still one fully operational in Bend Oregon. I watched another CZcamsr go inside and film. Brought back some great memories. Family movie time!!

When I forget to put stuff in the crock pot it automatically becomes a instapot meal lol. Happens more than I'd like to admit.
Another good flavor enhancement to your soup is poultry seasoning. I always use it for soup, dressing/stuffing, dumplings. Also, using Amish homemade noodles is a good alternative for the noodles.

I was a returns inspector at Blair (they use to be a flyer in your Sunday Coupon section for mail-ins years ago) up in PA during my summer breaks. They had an open returns policy and the things I got to inspect! Wowza. I had boots that clearly went thru a muddy field, shirt with actual fabric cut out of the back, and so so much more. Blair still took it all back.

Kim, get some soda crystals to clean your Dutch oven. Put 2 scoops of crystals right into the pan, fill with boiling water, and leave overnight. If you have any residue left the next day, use a magic eraser and it should come back to life.
Right after my little bro passed I'd find change mostly dimes. They leave it to show they are there. We also got reoccurring butterflies

Use parchment paper in your Dutch oven when you bake sourdough. It helps save the look of your Dutch oven. 😊

Yes there is one Blockbuster left it's in my hometown of Bend Oregon They mainly just sell t-shirts and memorabilia I don't really think they do rentals anymore😊
A few years back, I was at Costco returning something and noticed the person in front of me was returning her big bundle of toilet paper. My curiosity got the best of me so when it was my turn I asked why someone would return toilet paper. Apparently Costco had made the rolls larger and the new ones wouldn’t fit in the holders in their home.
My diffusers don't work if I add too much water to them. Perhaps try removing a little water & see if that fixes it.
When in high school, I worked a Kiddie World which is a “family run huge toy store” like you, I eve called off did everything and ever shift, and was kept on after the holidays ❤ it was fun and a lot of hard work. loved it😊. Always look forward to your videos ❤

Good morning Kim, I hate the theme days too! Me my daughter never says as trying until the night before! Try potting some fresh mint and lemon slices or orange slice with some black berries or any berries, I think you just bought some raspberries in you water bottle! Or fill you gallon container you use for parties and do that once a week and your kids will drink extra water every week if they see it on the counter! It’s so pretty and tastes good! Actually let the kids make it up and they will be drink more water that day😊

Totally singing the Toys R Us song with you! I never worked there but went shopping there in black Friday when I was pregnant with my 2nd child. I got there super early in the morning, could barely find a parking spot, and there were no shopping carts! When I finally got to checkout line the lady in front of me let me put some of my things in her cart so that I didn't have to hold them (I had my hands full). It was so nice of her to do that. Those were the days though!
I worked at Old Navy in like 2010 black friday, similar back to back shifts where I slept in my car during my lunch break and I legit saw a kid sleeping on a table… bonkers!! Plus one time clearance tried to eat me, I was putting something away and it all fell on me!
Kim, on your Dutch oven you can clean it will bar keepers friend and I have no idea of what kind of magic is in that but it will come right off. On returned I once had a rooster from hobby lobby ( I was having a homestead moment I think) but I had it on my breakfast room table a good year or maybe two and we were getting ready to move so I went to box it up to donate and the price was on the bottom $79 and I thought nope I’m going to try to take it back, and they took it, I did dust first if that makes it better.

I worked at KMart in college and worked the Jewelry counter one black Friday. I could see the front door and watched a guy bloody his own nose when the crowd came in and he tried to push on the door instead of pulling.
Oh Kim, I ordered oils from Magic Candle Company on May 13. Delivery is scheduled for tomorrow. This is like old time slow. 😀 I did the buy two get one free offer. They did say on their website they are very busy. I thought, Kim did this. 😀
It was so fun on Friday night to get you your favorite takeout go to blockbuster hope the new movie was out and that they had it get that movie and the giant candy bar and a tub of popcorn. Go home. Enjoy your night. It was just so much fun.

As a minimalist we just do what we can on dress up days. If we have it we have it if not we don’t do it. Kids will be fine if they don’t participate in every single thing m, they will survive.

I find with my diffuser that I need to make sure the water isn’t at the maximum line but below it, and I also only do a small amount of oil so the water/oil ratio doesn’t get too heavy to mist, if that makes sense? :)

I miss K-mart. They had the best bathroom decor and a good selection of kids toys. Also, they weren't as busy as Wal-mart.
