Though I am Ashkenaz, I absolutely _love_ so many of the Sephardic customs and traditions. While both of our traditions are special, it’s just amazing to learn about what makes us all unique. Judaism is definitely _not_ a monolith but is a tapestry of amazing people with varied backgrounds and traditions. 😊
Sara, I truly thank you for helping to share the beauty of Judaism with the world! Everything you do is bringing light into the world and showing them the beauty of HaShem and Judaism!!!! It is my fervent hope that your efforts will help people discover that Jews aren’t the ‘evil’ of the world, and thereby reduce antisemitism.
The world is becoming increasingly antisemitic, which frightens me for my son, and it is my fervent hope that through exposure to Jews through social media (because of wonderful, brave creators like you) that antisemitism will be reduced after people can see we’re people just like them! 😊
TYSM for your creations on CZcams!

I am a catholic with spiritual interests in Jewish life, having been brought up in a Jewish neighborhood at one point and working with Jewish friends...I have always enjoyed both sets of holidays and incorporate them into my daughter's life to share with her friends, thus multi culture becomes easier for you to share and not judge...your youtube thoughts could not have come at a better time as my daughter and I just sat down to have her son put together Friday's menu...thank you for showing me some more ideas...each time I watch I think of my grandmother who worked with Jewish friends and how specifically she cooked and always brought to her table foods and the settings a special way...she never explained why until I was engaged and inherited their gifts from these friends and then understood her style of cooking and entertaining...thank you again for your content...my one question would be where do you purchase your clothing and head scarves 💚✨️

It’s called Rosh Hashanah: Its Significance, Laws and Prayers and it’s got a lot about how different Jewish communities around the globe celebrate Rosh Hashanah. My favorite preparations you do before Rosh Hashana is the blowing of the shofars because the sound demands all our attention on G-d and I really like that. ❤ from Maryland 🇺🇸.

Good to see your new video! I have been watching you for a while (and cook salmon the way how you did show - like it). Recently talked with my friend and her daughter (her daughter is very strict in following the orthodox rules). I mentioned your video, my friend asked me to share the link - but we found that this young lady - the daughter - already watches your videos. Good to know.

Your daughter set a gorgeous table and I love the lotus flower design of the napkin. I make this napkin design too. I used to live in an orthodox Jewish area in south Florida but never knew about all the details of these holidays. I am Christian but am learning that so many things in the Bible are tied to Jewish feasts. May you have a blessed Rosh Hashanah Thank you for the video.

Leia did wonderfully with setting the table. The flower napkin was the perfect touch.
Coincidentally, I was recently reading through a children's book of Jewish holidays that I bought as a teaching aid for my classroom (I teach middle school social studies, and one of the units we cover is world religions). I was just reading about Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. The timing of this video couldn't have been better! Also, your husband's demonstration of the shofar blowing sequence put into visual and audio reality what I read in the book, but couldn't figure out on my own.
Shana Tova to you and your family, Sara!

Wow, such beautiful, big round challot!!!! I love it!
I really want to start implementing some of these nice traditions in my family (we're not Jewish but my mum is 85% jewish DNA-wise so I like to think I'm a bit connected to this amazing culture and faith! They used to live near a Jewish neighbourhood when my mother was growing up and whenever my grandmother entered a shop owned by Jewish people they started talking to her in Hebrew, thinking she was Jewish - she definitely LOOKED the part, haha!).
My 3 year-old daughter is already having a LOT of fun making challah with me every Friday in preparation for our Shabbat (and she keeps singing Shabbat Shalom because why not!). I've got a list of things I want to do/see when we go to Israel and getting a shofar is definitely near the top of the list, hahah!
Thanks again for such brilliant videos, Sara! G'd bless you and your family! Shana tova!!!!
And I love new beginnings ;)
