My dear, Anya, I am always impressed by your encyclopaedic knowledge of perfumes! I do remember my grandma's talcum powder. The scent of her is still with me. Occasionally an old lady will pass me and I pick up the smell. I remember her having a cup of tea. She'd pour the tea from her cup to the saucer and slurp it up. One time, I had a cold and couldn't smell anything. I was going out and splashed aftershave on myself. The doorman at the bar asked me if I worked as a toilet attendant. Strange I thought, saying no. But he let me pass. Later I danced with a girl and she said I smelled toilet fresh. Very strange I thought. Anyway, next morning I discovered my brother pranked me by pouring out my aftershave and putting bleach in the bottle. With my cold I didn't smell it and explained why I smelled toilet fresh! I glanced in the mirror and my face looked like a bowl of porridge. I came out all blotchy. Anyway, I got my sweet revenge 🤣 Thanks so much for this. Your voice is extra tingly today 💕
