As my dear departed mom used to say “cheap is expensive“. I’ve been in the game quite a while myself. What I figured out is exactly that cheap is expensive. You bought 10 of these before you figured it out all my God! My recommendation is bite the bullet save up to get a decent compressor that you know can work and you can fill the tank up recharge your gun quickly. I guess this is a good stop that measure if you can’t afford anything else but you’re not gonna be happy with it.
I agree. I haven't bought a $3000 compressor yet. But I did get a Lil Foot, which is good quality. They were custom built by the Pellet Shop and Donny FL and China. Good times!
@@AirgunChannel I hear the big foot compressor is nice. Guy I'm in a group with has one. Flat broke airgunners
@@AirgunChannel the Lil Foot is a rebranded Tuxing 12v to their specs. same as the air venturi nomad and others from the same OEM. I guess your paying a premium for their customer support when it eventually breaks like all these small ones do.
@@jp-3dairgunworks152 nomad 2 sucks I wasted 800 bucks on one of those , blew up in my house literally the Piston flew out the side of the box compressor I should of bought a bigass tank instead of a nomad 2 for 800 bucks ..but I can't afford it so I bought one like this one that he's reviewing I've has for about two and a half yrs I only fill my guns but it is super load and having to use water sucks imo 🙃
@@chrisfigueroa3361 like I said. ALL the small ones eventually break even the Yong Heng. Plenty of videos here on YT of broken ones and people doing repairs. It is just piss poor Chinese QC. Some people get lucky and others dont.
Nate great work again...
Thank you! -Nate
Nice video Nate. Looks like a decent affordable option.
Thanks, yes. It's not bad it you just use if for your gun. Can't beat the price!
Good job. Thanks
Thanks for watching! Now you know about blue compressors. Happy shooting! -Nate
Got my yong heng 5 years ago only fill airguns with it and still work perfectly
I hope I can say that in 5 years. That's awesome! -Nate
@@dangerous8333 those create alot of moisture so shtf and you'll be up shit creek with water in your gun.
Nice job Nate. Some guys highly recommend Royal Purple synthetic oil instead of the cheaper compressor oil. They claim it will triple the longevity of the compressor when changed properly. Also they use distilled water or at least filtered water because the impurities in water damage it over time. They are getting up to 3 years of life that way. I hope this helps people.
Good call. I heard about royal purple too. Happy shooting! -Nate
Now that I have a scuba tank I might just need to get into 1 of the water cooled type. I have a small 12 v and it’s great for the guns and it will work on the little pony bottles but that’s pushing it. Good info brother. Stay safe and keep shootin straight!!
Those create alot of moisture because they're slow fill.
I have made a few purchases from that company. I ordered a 4 to 16 power rifle scope with a reflex sight and laser pointer. I was very impressed with the quality of construction of all the parts and they included batteries as well so I can get started right away. Then I discovered there was no parallax adjustment for the scope. The glass was like a funhouse mirror. The reflex sight crosshair would move ever so slightly changing point of aim. But the quality of the overall construction was impressive. I recently bought a bipod from them.. for air rifle 22 long rifle or even an AR-15 the $20 bipod is fantastic quality for the 20.00 dollar price. For what i am paying for these devices i am impressed with the materials and overall construction. The optical lens was a disappointment.
Nate…Seco Lube type 500 Diester Synthetic compressor lubricant. Made to fill diving tanks and won’t smoke, lasts a lot longer than what I used to use which was Royal Purple. Stephan at Air Velocity Sport and made a video on it. Was 65$ a gallon. Runs cooler, no carbon building up on top piston, and no smoke.🤷♂️💯Check out the video @ Air Velocity Sport CZcams. He makes some wicked accurate slugs as well. Take care bud.
Oh yeah, I love AVS. I have been watching him for a long time. I'll check out his 500 Diester video. Thanks for the tip! -Nate
Nice bro
I've had my yong heng compressor for 2 years now I keep the water iced down all the way when charging my fiber tanks , it's my second one , the piston on the first one after 2 years snapped in half !!
🎯 Great video and presentation NATE 🎯
2 years aint bad if your charging full size tanks. Good stuff.
Good point
@@dangerous8333 well I live on a 60 acre ranch in south Atascosa Texas I just walk out my backyard or on my gator and hunt , I am planning to buy a Hill large compressor !!
@@AirgunChannel Sorry you busy. I new Yong Heng lcd smart digital I bought. I have two questions, I would be happy if you answer them.
1) iso 100 mannol oil used, you think the best or bad?
2) Is yod water from underground or mountain water recommended? Is it okay if I mix 1 liter of red antifreeze into 15 liters of water? Or should I boil water?
James, about the compressor thermometer, you have to put batteries in it separately and when you put batteries in it, it turns on without being connected to the compressor???
I have had a good experience with my blue compressor...it has been running for about two and a half years...6 to 8 runnings per year....oil has been changed after three to four runnings...it has been used to fill a 6L scuba tank to 4200 psi...it takes no more than 12 min to fill it from 3000 to 4200 psi. I changed the water pump to a bigger one (Sarlo 1000). Not a single problem so far.
Awesome! I know alot of people who use them for years. Thanks for the comment! -Nate
Do you know the pcp palanquera mustang lobo carbine made in Spain, it would be nice if you could review this carbine. Thanks for your videos I love them. regards 👌
Haha. You sir, are a man after my own heart. Love the rc. I have traxxas, Arrma and Losi. Please, again forgive my
newb-ness. I was (am) looking through all of your vids .. Do you have a favorite caliber or does it depend on the platform. I think it was the AEA .25 where you briefly mentioned you prefer the .22 .. Challenger Pro is on my list. I’m not a hunter unless you count walking down the market looking for a perfectly marbled ribeye. “Protect the innocent. Punish the guilty.”
Awesome dude! I always go with .22 because I am mostly a plinker, target shooter. If you want to hunt squirrels, rabbits, birds, an accurate .25 is awesome. As long as the gun is regulated, it's usually pretty accurate. Thanks for watching! -Nate
The oil given by the company, compressor should be started inside?
Buy one of these. Do not waste money on hand pump.
Good call. Hand pumps are the worst!
@@AirgunChannel I had an Air Venturi G-6 handpump & it’s almost 15 years without breakdown, whatsoever, filling my 6 pcps!!!handpump is portable can be put in your backpack while compressors cannot!
J ai le même depuis 10 mois j en suis tres content
C'est super. Quel type de pistolets PCP vendent-ils en France ? ...et bonjour des États-Unis ! -Nate
Rc? Dope..My two hobbies also..RC and PCP..You in California?
I used to be. I moved to Oregon. Too bad we don't live next door to each other! Happy shooting! -Nate
@@AirgunChannel I saw the snow and thought you might be in the Sierras also lol
I saw that Kraton and was like, ‘heeeeeeyyyyy’ 😂😂😂
Thanks for all of your hard work on these videos my man!😬👊🏾
You can buy all their stuff on Amazon aswell
I'm only running 20 minutes tops. Cool down then 20 more. No wonder they're blowing up lol
Just went to their site and this is over a 100 bucks more expensive than a yong heng. Just buy a yong heng
Come on bro a hongYeng ain't going to kill another hongyeng. I'm very skeptical of any one pretending like it isn't the same thing.
Not including like industrial units, there are only like seven or eight different compressors actually on the market just rebranded. They just powder coat the shell a different maybe they add one of the desiccant tubes.
I got high pressure stuff so personally I'm not going to mess with it in mod my own too crazy but my job's got 240 outlets out the wazoo so I'm just going to run it the way it's meant to be.
its a 300 bar max. 4350 psi not 4500 psi. Ive had mine for 2+ years no problems. but i only fill to 4200 psi in my bottles.
I just filled mine to 300 bar in the cold. Room temperature brings it to 4 500 psi
And I got royal purple compressor oil. Not much smell.
Like my ote knifes ..
they will run indefinitely and fill LARGE scuba tanks one after the other- if you do this: get a 5 gallon bucket. fill it to about 3 gallons- then dump in a LOT of ice- to the point where it's about 1/2 ice & half water, stir it in good. if you're running the compressor, circulating from your ice water- and you can stick your hand in the ice water- and it still feels uncomfortably cold? you can keep running. just as soon as the water warms up? STOP. ADD MORE ICE. then continue.
Just get the Hill EC-3000, so much simpler and more reliable.
True that! or a Lil Foot is good.
Still ok if you are just getting into PCP'S
It sure changed my life when I got one for the first time. No more going to the Scuba shop to get air.
You can't do videos $99 items? Or you won't? That tells me you are bias.
ARE YOU SELLING KNIVES?????????????????????? : ) HA! HA! HA!!
Amen
