When it comes to funeral homes, even if you have LEGITIMATE issues with the processes they performed or didn't perform, you'll find there are not any laws on the books to pushback against the wrongs they have committed. It will astound you if you ever have to wrangle with a funeral home. Most of the time, they hide behind the worn out excuse of, "hysterical relatives, overcome with grief interfered with understanding of what was agreed upon, etc.". It is so frustrating. There are no unbiased overseers or neutral state boards to register complaints. The people on those boards are all in the industry together and look out for one another like crooked swindlers. There is not a lot that you can do to get justice. It's an untouchable industry.

I don't know how funeral and hospice people do it. I know I couldn't. Thank God for those compassionate folks that can. Maybe you should be in sales, planning, and production of services. I doubt those would require handling of corpses. The funeral home that my mom chose buckled under pressure from my sister and sent her the death certificate instead of me, whom mother assigned as the designated agent before she died. And for good reason. My sister promptly went and emptied mom's bank accounts. Couldn't touch the funeral home for what they did. So frustrating. I get mad whenever I think about it and it's been almost 4 years.
You know...it's odd. It took weeks for my Aunt to be cremated. Even though we paid for her cremation, we weren't able to get information about her remains and we were told her son -- next of kin needed to give us permission to allow us to have information. Then they couldn't get hold of him, but still wouldn't let us do anything about her remains or find out if she'd been cremated yet. Like they had our credit card. My mom (her sister) paid. She died first week of Jan and I don't think shit was resolved until mid Feb close to 1st week of March. If they're operating like this...it's no wonder shit was all over the place even here in CA.
I still can't figure out how cemeteries can bury plots so close together if the normal casket is six feet long. The land is only so big but funerals are happening so frequently where is all the bodies really? Are the caskets being resold? With the pandemic deaths alone space should have ran out and new cemeteries set up.
I am not sure when was the last cemetery was built in the USA? It may have been many decades ago. You are right on about your analysis about the situation. I am not sure if funerals or the cremation process are the most expensive. My guess is the cremation is the cheapest.
My God, what is going on with mankind? Have we as earthly beings lost any semblance of what is just? There are to many stories like this concerning funeral homes. How do we ever trust that they are doing the right thing?
I'm pretty sure most places have criminal charges for desecration of corpses. Surely leaving them in that state when they should be either refrigerated or cremated would qualify?

Yea it’s sick
My heart goes out to this poor woman. The funeral owners should be charged. It's ridiculous how they're walking free after what they've done.
She lost Her son 💖🙏 Lord send Your Spirit to comfort Her in grief
Amen Lily 🙌🏾🥰
Please pray for me, @Lily Flower
@@lighthouse9776 Okay I will 💖🙏
@@lilyflower5576 thank you! I, truly, appreciate it!
I don't care what anyone says , you don't know what you are getting in that box or urn when they hand you cremated remains .
Condolences to all families involved 🙏.
It probably comes with ashes of other people too.
They are supposed to put a metal id tag on the deceased and place it in the box with the ashes
@@soblessedchelsea59
Like you said, SUPPOSED to .
They didn't have that on my husband's and his sisters boxes.
Even if they did, that still doesn't mean they are the right ashes.
That's just my opinion and that's what I will always believe.
Be blessed 😇 .
When my father died I insisted on watching the cremation process. He was going back over to Scotland to a family plot. No way did I want someone else’s ashes. Freaked the guy out because it had never happened before in his career. Fast forward 17 years and I did the same for my sister in law. Sure might not be 100% her ashes but at least the funeral service business knew we were paying attention. The difference 17 years later they charged $350.00 for me to watch. What a racket. You bet they should be held accountable.
I ALWAYS have doubts about what or who is in the box.
Very wrong to put the families thru this. Someone needs to be held accountable. I feel for this poor mother. God bless her. ❤️🙏❤️
I’m so sorry this has happened to you dear lady. To lose you precious son and then to be treated with such disrespect is unimaginable for a mother. I pray that you receive the respect you deserve and that in time you find a peaceful acceptance. My heartfelt condolences from Australia.
Praying for this poor lady. An others affected. Lord help us.
IM SO SORRY ABOUT YOUR SON THAN THIS. OMG. GOD BLESSED YOU SWEET LADY
This is so sad. I feel so bad for that mother. And the other families. NO ONE CHARGED WITH A CRIME??? WHAT?!! This is crazy
What a nightmare for these families and community🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
There’s more than likely thousands of places like this.
I lost my first born Son and he was only two years old. I couldn't imagine something like that happening to one of my loved one's. That is horrible and my heart goes out to this Mother. 😭😭😭😭💔💔💔💔🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I am so sorry for your loss! Praying for your healing! ❤️❤️🙏🙏

I'm so sorry to all of the victims in this case. Sending prayers of comfort and all of my condolences to the family's and friends of the victims from Cali 🙏🌹🙏🌹🙏🌹🙏🌹🙏🌹🙏🌹🙏🌹🙏
No sleazy funeral homes for me. I told my wife to bury me in the backyard and not tell anyone. Keep those retirement and social security checks coming. She said "Could you dig the hole".
Well if you have children, they could inherit that fraud debt if anyone from the state/government founds out or if someone reports it. Then you be long gone while they paid for what you asked her to do.
Hilarious
How absolutely devastating.
💔💔💔
That funeral home must be shut down. This is criminal. This is a crime, it's mishandling of human remains of many deceased bodies and it's a breach of trust and contract for the people who brought their loved ones there, trusting them was a big mistake..
In Canada we call it indignity to a human body. It is a criminal charge.
Im so sorry..
Omg. So sorry for these families
This is not the first time I've heard about this happening in funeral homes .I'm so sorry for these families having to suffer this .
This is so sad and scary. They need more refrigeration equipment to prevent this in the future. The county should be staying on this to prevent this. They can help with overflow if the funeral home can’t complete the service. Listening to the mother breaks my heart.
In Indiana? They don't believe in government help.
@@nannanbell lol. What?
My prayers to all these families
I'm so sorry for your loss mam. Hoping you get the answers you deserve.
Despicable! That's all that needs to be said!
So bodies laid there and rotted and theres no crime, FRICKING AMAZING, IM SURE THEY WERE PAID FOR SERVICES THAT DIDNT GET DONE!
Those owners need to be charged with everything possible! Even fraud! How do you prove those ashes are your loved one.??? Disgustingly outrageous behavior.
Geez...that's sick. So sorry for the families.
Shut the place down make them pay for they have done to ppl 💯love ones
Sad times. Get to the bottom of this!
How cruel! I hope this lady does not find out that the ashes that she holds dear aren’t those of her SON! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾❤
Sad. I am so sorry for any family that has to deal with this.
I am speechless
Sounds like they took the money and didn't do any of the work, letting it pile up literally.
My family has been thru this in the past and it's quite traumatic! Sorry for these families.
My prayers to all the family of the loved ones
How is this not a crime and how is the owner not been charged yet?
Title: "Bodies found in the funeral home"
Me *totally confused* : isn't that normal?!
That's horrible! I pray these families get closure!
They need to be charged for their actions. I would get an attorney that would be interested in doing just that, maybe as a class action law suit brought against the funeral home as a whole. Please let us pray for these poor souls.
My question is what were they even doing with the bodies? Harvesting them for something?
@Vun444 Years ago, some of them were stealing bones from the bodies and replacing them with steal pipes. They sold the parts for a lot of money. I family found out after the person was dug up for in investigation and they found out parts were missing.
Just morbid and creepy. .
No that would ruin it
Absolutely despicable!!! I just can’t believe that anyone could be so inhumane… my thoughts and prayers go out to all the victims of this unbelievable act.
This is hurrendous and so sad for all the families involved, their loved ones deserve better!!!!
On my goodness my heart is breaking for that mom. I hope everything runs out for the best for her
This is just sickening!!!
He says "....if there are any victims" I guarantee NO customer paid for their friend or themselves to decompose alongside 30 other cadavers. If the neighbors knew, THEY knew! What oversight is there, None! Who could they have asked for assistance, Noone. What Federal or State department audits these businesses for deficiencies, N/A

You nailed it.
@@imhere653 I've often consider becoming a mortician or at least an assistant of some sort if for no other reasons than job security and NO oversight from bureaucratic department heads. I'm just too squeamish with bodily fluids and neglected individuals hurts tok deep in my soul to ignore. I worked as a cosmetic associate for a funeral home so trust when I say you cant even begin to imagine the disfunction that flourishes behind those doors.

I appreciate your input. It's nice to know others are aware of what is happening in the human remains industry. It's the best kept secret since congress being in charge of overseeing their own pay and salary raises. I understand what you mean about facing so much daily grief.
Everybody should be charged with a crime. Improperly handling of a corpse.
Their needs to more inspections for funeral homes they have become more about money and scammers
Exactly
Of course it's all about money, this is America.
I don't trust funeral homes. Charging you for things that they never deliver.
Omg my heart goes out to family members God Bless
Prayers to all.
This is so sad. How inhumane 😞😞
Very sad for the deceased. Peace and prayers for the family
It’s hard enough losing a lived one but to be put through this heartbreak from what’s supposed to be a professional buisness is disgusting
Praying for the families.
Man this is sad for the families. Unbelievable
I still can't figure out how cemeteries can bury plots so close together if the normal casket is six feet long. The land is only so big but funerals are happening so frequently where is all the bodies really? Are the caskets being resold? With the pandemic deaths alone space should have ran out and new cemeteries set up.
That's something to really think about!!
Wow, great question(s)
@@missartis9002 real talk thank you
I ALWAYS wondered that. It doesn’t make sense and makes you question what is really going on
@@starlightx6662 exactly
I am not sure when was the last cemetery was built in the USA? It may have been many decades ago. You are right on about your analysis
about the situation. I am not sure if funerals or the cremation process are the most expensive. My guess is the cremation is the cheapest.
Absolutely horrible. My prayers to all affected 🙏
How shameful.
My God, what is going on with mankind? Have we as earthly beings lost any semblance of what is just? There are to many stories like this concerning funeral homes. How do we ever trust that they are doing the right thing?

Stuff getting crazy in the world every time you turn around something going on.
I always felt like the ashes ppl get could belong to anyone
I would be absolutely devastated. These people need to be charged

Some funeral homes are having problems getting parts and supplies for cremations. If that is the reason, then this problem may only get worse.
Yea but why still take family’s money for funeral and don’t have proper equipment etc smh
This isn't the only place having problems if it was getting so complicated.
And if they're selling Body Parts ... They need to be investigated
Send them to prison. My God this is awful. Prays for these families
This is so horrible, those poor families

Prayers of strength for any family's effected by this💞🙏💞 may who deserves to be held accountable... To the fullest!!!
I'm pretty sure most places have criminal charges for desecration of corpses. Surely leaving them in that state when they should be either refrigerated or cremated would qualify?
So so sad 😞 My heart goes out to the families....
