Bravo Betterhelp ♥️🤘🧐🌱
I have completed a few Therapeutic Community Models and am hours away from my LCDC 🌐♥️♻️
I have some UNREAL ideas for social media regarding mental health and platform integration 🪄♥️ to help more....
Van your the man for being that medium!
Thanks for taking me back to Thailand
Van is the best film maker on CZcams that is actually findable. No idea what other obscurities are hiding in the algorithm… but this right here. This is the stuff that makes life worth living.
Yep not shadow banned like me and your channels some are basically unseearchable
He makes you wonder though, eh?
Check out Shaffer Nickel as well. Dude makes some of the best content on this platform and has maybe 15k followers after years on CZcams. His recent piece about fear is pretty great.
@@kimball_stone I just went to shaffer's channel and watched some of his videos, they're insane. definitely a great artist that needs more recognition, thanks for recommending him!
@@luismaxb Right!? The guy is *crazy* talented. When I first started watching his videos, he literally had a thousand subs. His quality was already better than some people with half a million.
I love your videos. I appreciate you saying you don’t get the art, I know I don’t. What I can say is that the art I like makes me feel…feel inspired or sad or happy or whatever. Your art inspires me. Thank you.
Feel feel?
As an artist and art worker who has had the privilege to be a part of some fine (and fun) work, this film really captures the transient wonders of time spent on time sensitive projects. The reward for good work will always be more good work.
cutting the scene you're quoting from into the edit was 10/10.
This one touched me on so many different levels Van. I started out as an artist. I wouldn't say I was a very good one but it gave me the skills to become a great art worker. I enjoyed that work. The pressure of artistic inspiration is off your shoulders and you can focus on the fabrication instead. That led me to wooden boatbuilding, which is how I pay the bills now, but more importantly it harnessed all of my mechanical skills, artistic interests and abilities and gave them a singular focus for expression. Now I also put both those interests into video production. I use the videos to teach people how to build boats but it also gives me a new outlet for artistic expression that I formerly didn't have.
I love Thailand. Bangkok was thoroughly intimidating upon my arrival. My first interaction with an Asian city. After touring around the country a few weeks I really appreciated arriving back in Bangkok. My mother-in-law shot 8mm film while she was there in the late 50's and when I compared that to the sides I was shooting at the time, around 2001, I was shocked to see how little had changed.
Lastly, for the record, I also don't get most modern art.
@nomadboatbuilding I will check your channel out. I’m a wooden boat person as well.
@@glassgoat9601 this wasn’t intended as a plug for my channel but thanks anyway.
Favorite shot was you at your computer as fireworks go off behind you. I can imagine them starting to go off, you thinking about the shot, and then scrambling to get the camera out to film it hoping the fireworks keep going. Defiantly been there.
As a former movie crew member, art worker myself too, I felt for a moment I was there too. Thank you Van, and thank all the crew members and the patrons and clients. It was nice!
Thank you for being the person who stands up for mental health and shares your journey!! Very inspiring!! 🧡💚💜❤️
Every video that Van puts out, just leaves me shaking my head. In the most positive way. For my own selfish reasons, please keep them coming!
Mr Neistat, I lost you for a while. The algorithm distracted me with other interests, but I realize again that you give me a perspective that makes everything else even more interesting.
Eventually a much larger algorithm that includes Rich Roll and your brother folded you back into my world.
As it should.
this is just perfect, I just keep watching it over and over.
As always a super well done and thoughtful video. It must have been a great experience. However, I just learned about the allegations about Tom Sachs art studio at curbed today .. not sure what's true about it and what not, but I hope that also he is treating his workers well.
13:38 - what a great use for a bunch of Casio a168 watches.
Thanks Van! Its so cool to see your inside view on the art world and the travel you do for Tom. I love this kind of behind the scenes footage. It really makes me appreciate his work in a way I never seen before.
Loved it, Van!
PS - I need one of those Tom Sachs 'Infinity' CREW shirts..
The boat organization is not lost on me. Love it.
You sir are an amazing storyteller. Really enjoy each video you upload.
Thank you Van!
Tom Sachs!! The Artist The Master. Tnx for sharing this Man, part of your life.

This is awesome, love that you gave the start of this video the attention it deserves.
What a great experience…thanks for bringing us along!
This was amazing. I haven’t watched the recent ones but the rhythm here is amazing. Storytelling in a video format. It’s so pulling. Warrants my focus and attention.
Comment to support Van!
This is one of the best videos on CZcams
I missed this. Thank you.

Great shots and narrating is sublime
Beautifully done as always. Amazing.
Extraordinary. Thank you.
Bangkok is a wonderful city. Love that place. Good video!
Good to see Van still works with Tom on occasion.
This was seriously great, man
„My favourite place to experience a place is to have a job there“ that’s 💯 my experience too. I barely can afford to travel anywhere that’s why most places I ever visited were always because of a job.
What an amazing story Van. Wonderful!
Thank you for always inspiring my spirit
I took my first trip to Bangkok in September 2022. Next up is Nepal!
Oh how I love this channel.
Another masterpiece. Thank you.
Captivating. Well done!

Fascinating. Thank you Van.

I've been watching the Neistat brothers lately and it's awesome to see that you still have the white sunglasses!

Yet another brilliant spirited video as usual, you've done a fantastic job of summarizing the entire event here. It's great to finally meet you in person, and I hope you had a good time exploring Bangkok. I do hope you will visit us again. Thank you!

Great vlog
KILLER video really knocked it out the park with this one

That closing drone shot was $$$$.
That was fantastic.
Hey Van, really loved your work as Boat Driver in Daddy Longlegs
What an inspiration man you are mister Neistat.
You #mademyday with this video Van. Watching and listening to your stories, put me on a self discovery path finding my inner artist, and I want to thank you for that.
I like Bangkok very much, at least for a couple of days here and there.
Great video, Van. Glad you have enjoyed the trip:)
That boat is stellar.
Wonderful work. Thank you for sharing it. ✌️
I love that area of Bangkok - The Wat Arun around sunset never fails to dissapoint. Thats one of my favorite city vacay locations.
Wow thank you
Original work per usual 👌
What an experience! The music, the narrative, the colors, create an immersive whole where I plunged while losing the notion of time... this video transported me as far as this boat.
You got a new camera and it looks fantastic!
Beautiful ♥️
I always love your movies. This one was breathtaking. Thank you.
Thank you for taking us on a boat in Bangkok. (I have a little queasiness...ha ha) Great story and edit flow. Enjoyed the history of the east west art relationships.
I liked this one Van
Omg, that market stall with all the drill bits is a dream!
The whole video is an art experience. Thank you!
Super Cool!!!!
Nice job Van!
Soooo good. One of my favourites this one :)
Thailand is SUCH a special place💯!
doing the video in 4K justice, very apprecaited
This is beautiful. You are beautiful. Love
I love your work 🎥 but I especially liked this video. Great job as always 👍
Art Workers are special people.
Thanks for bringing us on this journey, Van. I loved it
Very enjoyable film :)
Oh you came to Bangkok!!
This video is an incredible piece of story telling. Its a film. I wish I could be half this good at making videos.
seminal episode !!!
I think that's the romantic perspective about arts. Language, race, and religions can be a barriers. But art is the one that unites us all.
Beautiful
New destination unlocked. Thank you, the artist, the art workers...
I love you man. The sponsor message was almost more compelling than the art part.
Nearly 15 minutes of pure interest.
