This is actually my new main because I'm an absolute sucker for crunchy/clicky hand feels! I also am way more comfortable executing algs on it than my XS and I never really ended up liking the Valk Elite

Very Good Video. And Review. I bought the Qiyi Ms. About 9 months ago. It became my main after a couple days of solves. Its Amazing. I have the stickerless version. Its really quiet and smooth. Just like you said. I love that i didnt have to swap magnets. Or the all the other stuff. It was Great right out of the Box.

It really is very good. I did an ao100 on it today that was .7 slower than my best ao100 ever. Without doing any setup to it.
What's cube did you use to get your best ao100?

3x3 has hit the peak (for several years since Yuexiao v1) where the newer cubes mostly give different feels without being significantly better. Customizability felt like an attempt to make the cube seem like it had more to offer, since actually creating one that could be faster is getting harder an harder to do. There are already so many good designs are already quite optimal with no obvious flaws. I have never switched away from my MF3RS2M because there has only been one cube (it's the GTS3M) , out of the 10++ 3x3s I have burrowed over the years, which has given me a better average, and even then it was better only by about 0.2 seconds so I never bought it. MS is a breakthrough in the sense that it can offer the same already optimized features at a lower price.
On a side topic I actually feel that 4x4 has hit that same peak that 3x3s have been for the past 3-4 years with the release of the Aosu WR. Looking at mechanism, most cubes have the same mechanism as the Aosu v1, (which is a double-anchored outer layer) with the only major difference being variation in the size of the 2 anchors, plus the Wuque which has one additional small hook that went under one of the anchors. The real improvements come from just thinning the plastic to make the cube lighter, making the plastic stronger to prevent breakage, and making the cube smoother. However this will come to a point where personal preferences will take over, and further making the cube smaller, lighter or smoother dosent make the cube better, it just creates a different feel.

I have ordered this cube after seeing all the glowing reviews it's been getting. The size may be a problem for me though because I prefer smaller cubes. Well, at least it's cheap.

The one thing I don't like about the MS is how the cap are attached. It uses a very long prongs that is hard to take off. Other than that, it replaced my ProShop Little Magic 3x3 M as my main back then. It's now my backup cube and I still like it when I played around with it. Very clicky and smooth after I put Speedy and DNM-37 on it.
I just bought this cube and In my opinion this cube is the best black stickered budget cube.
Have you tried the Qiyi wuwei m yet?

i wanted the stickerless one but they are sold out :( so i got the stckered
I get mine in 2 days along with some martian lube.
Edit: I've had it for a year and it's my favorite cube. I even got a Gan cube but I still prefer my qiyi ms! So smooth and has a very flowing loose feel even though it isn't loose. I've managed to whittle my pb from 19 seconds to a 15.07. And my average went from around 27 seconds to around 23 seconds. I'd recommend this cube to littlerally everyone. note that in this video he says the magnets are on the stronger side. But I feel like they are more in the middle. The only thing I hate about it, is on the sticker less version, the green is the worst shade of green I've ever seen on a cube. The stickered version seems to use a more normal shade for some reason...
Good review as always. I should have got this cube cuz I used a Yan 3 as my main for quite a long time before switching to other cube. BTW, do you think it's good for OH.
I think the turning is fine for OH, but it might be a bit bigger than some people are used to.

The qiyi ms has a hard time corner twisting, which I think people aren't talking about much since it turns quite nice

Just bought the 2x2 3x3 4x4 the megaminx and kilominx all in black I hate the color for the stickerless I am not a speedsolver so I shouldn't have a problem with the stickers

If this is like a cherry mx blue, what switches would you compare some of the newer cubes to? Or which cube do you feel represent different mechanical switches the best.
I think the vast majority of cubes these days are similar to mx browns because of the magnets. Something like the Gan RS would be a red switch.

Try the Gan series - 356 M and Gan X are both very smooth and quiet. Also the DaYan TengYun v1 or v2.

It's good to have basic understanding of 3x3 to solve megaminx cuz it makes learning easier. Well you can go for learning megaminx.
Barbara Martin for megaminx, yes. for ghost cube yes, but you shouldn’t get a ghost cube anyway, it is extremely difficult, one of the most difficult ones i have

The ylm has a long stalk for the corners but the edges are more similar to the rs3m 2020 but not super similar
On the ylm,The stalks are longer , the edges are smoother and the corners have a long groove kind of design

And every cube is more than it should cost I think the Yulong V2 is $20, the Little Magic is $10
