Youre going on 2 series wins over an almost 60 game season? Wow that’s a reach. I’ll get your wife to wipe my tears after she makes my sandwich.

Dallas Baptist 44-13, won their Conference Tournament, 9-2 vs. Q1 RPI. Indiana State 10 RPI. Both should host. But since they have smaller venues they get overlooked.
Dallas Baptist doesn’t get overlooked, they have been in the top 25 for like the last 10 years now. Baseball fans know they have a good program. Not good enough to host this year, who cares? They made it. Plus I’m pretty sure they have hosted in the last couple years, so I don’t wanna hear that they get overlooked, they don’t.
DBU has a legit case, but not Indiana State. ISU beat nobody worth a damn.
And Dallas Baptist has proven their worth during the tournament most times when they've made it! Been to two Super Regionals already and pushed Oral Roberts last year, nearly making it to a third!
Maybe, but last year they we're a national seed (Indiana St) against basically the same schedule so that being a theory is debatable! And remember they validated getting that national seed by advancing to the Super Regional

if the final four teams aren’t SEC schools baseball power ranking mean nothing in the future, I don’t follow it that much but the top six teams all in the SEC? maybe I’m wrong but I’m guessing these “experts” are probability not the experts they think they are.
They had very little to say about the number 2 overall seed.
They spent like ten times more time talking about the Fiesta Bowl--a football game--than they spent talking about the number 2 overall seed.
They spent as much time talking about UC Santa Barbara's stadium renovations as they spent talking about the number 2 overall seed.
Maybe it is a good thing. Maybe being under the radar means little pressure as you play to take your school to Omaha for the first time ever.
Indiana State scares me. They hosted a regional last year and would have hosted a super-regional if they felt like they had the resources. They were tough to beat in a 3-game series in Lexington last season. They may be the biggest obstacle between the Cats and Omaha.
But very little was said about the number 2 overall seed and SEC regular season co-champions. A lot of airtime was spent talking about teams with losing records in their conference, though.
Even at 28-27, Florida is a more interesting story than Kentucky. Maybe it’s because Kentucky doesn’t really move the needle that much.
I get where your coming from Tim but that's not a bad thing because sometimes when your over talked about or maligned by the media, it can end up being costly pressure wise! The less the pressure the more free you can play! Those of us that pay attention to college baseball know full well how good Kentucky has become, believe me! I personally have them going to Omaha in my bracket challenge

Well that's only if Wake advances! Plus Tennessee is better than they we're a year ago and they proved last year in the Supers they can handle the Golden Eagles
I look at it personally from the opposite perspective! I don't think any of the teams in that Regional/Super like the idea very much of having to go through Knoxville! And I think Tony Vitello learned a valuable lesson two years ago about playing the game with respect and dignity sans the arrogance after the Notre Dame debacle! They're not only a better team now but they let their performance do the talking and take every opponent seriously
Southern Miss is a good squad along with Indiana. I’m all VOLS for sure but there’s a reason no number 1 seed has ever won it either but there’s a first time for everything! GBO!!!!

So… is Florida any good? They’re coming to my town to to play even though they’re below 500 in their conference with a 28-27 record. Were they that successful against that non conference schedule that was supposedly so good?
Florida is garbage and only got in because 1, they are Florida, 2 sec bias, and 3, large fan base

It's amazing how many who've commented on Florida's inclusion in the tourney seem to be suffering from short term memory loss! The fact the Gators got 28 wins to me was remarkable considering all the major components they lost off last year's national runner-up squad and I mean we're talking most at the caliber that just can't be replaced over night! Regardless of the availability of the portal! Considering how loaded the SEC was again this season (Yawn!), I think they overachieved because besides Caglianone and Cade Kurland in the lineup, after them it tails off considerably

CAL was 20-5 over their last 25. Almost totaled Florida’s entire season worth of wins in half a season. The fact that Florida is in and CAL is out is fucking disgrace.
SEC respected more as a conference than the western conferences is all that's about.i don't like the SEC favoritism at all but that's what caused it.

I'm a chants fan but I do agree with Charleston head coach we shouldn't be in we had a awesome start with a 27-15 but we weren't hrut we were Undisciplined had a pitcher transfer midway through the end had players going to bars before game day the next day players simlieing after loses .
So yhea if there was eimation game to get in like basketball if coastal and c of c Charleston would've smoke us

Only 4 Sun Belt schools in? Troy snubbed? Troy and the Sun Belt were so good in baseball this year, I didn't check out to brackets to see IF they made it in. I checked out the brackets to see if they got a 3 or 4 seed and WHERE they got in... only to find that they got snubbed in favor of a bunch of also rans. This is a joke bracket.
