Thank you: a brilliant post: i have used it to highlight the scam that is the waste to energy project at Pomona: taking points out of the murky opaque 45 page deal that was hurried & forced through in weeks. The entire deal needs to be overturned: the dumping charges are prohibitive: unsustainable & unaffordable to all waste management service providers: citizens & the CofH which has given away all control: the deal has been brought before parliament by Rusty Markham and is the subject of a High Court class action suit. The pvt waste service providers experienced an over night increased dumping fee of thousands of %: payable only in USD cash: collected by two Albanians who can hardly speak English: no swipe: no rtgs accepted: a corrupt scam from top to bottom: with NO viability or feasibility study attached. HCC is a rogue entity, that is not fit for purpose. The garbage truck drivers, speed down Alpes road going to Pomona dump. How can those vehicles last long? From Jan....4 collections in Vainona, but the Refuse charge is on the monthly bill. I get billed monthly for water...that they shut off in 2008?
