Harold O'Neal is a jazz pianist with an original journey. In addition to a career as an actor, hip hop dancer and martial arts specialist, he began to study jazz at the Paseo Academy of Performing Arts where he attracted the attention of his future mentor, the legendary saxophonist Bobby Watson. Later on he studied at the Manhattan School of Music where he became the protégé of the great jazz pianist Andrew Hill. More than anything, Harold O'Neil seeks to convey to his audience the universal experience of music without focusing on genre.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
