thank you . I'm a bachelor and bought my power force a year ago and I haven't been able to find the bags until today and I haven't really felt that I needed to because it's only me and I'm pretty clean guy with the hardwood floors 😂🎶😎
Why the heck do the arrows point up if i'm supposed to pull down? Smh.
I think it's a (kinda funny) oversight by the people who designed it.
I had the older model and where the hose connected the lock and un-lock arrows were reversed!

Maybe this specific model works differently, but the one I had you couldn't just slap the bag on and boom done. What I did was push my fingers into the bag from the hole in the cardboard, to make room inside the bag, then I grabbed the edges of the cardboard and gently pushed the tube into the bag.

It's made cheap. I'm afraid I'll break the bag door. I've put it altogether, except the bag. Opening that door is going to be hard because of the cheapness. But Bissell is a powerful vacuum, so I bought it.

Does anyone have issues with it when pulling back the vacuum? Have checked the hoses, new bags, cleaned the brushes and still leaves more of a mess when vacuuming then there was to begin with.

Bissell why did you guys redesign the powerforce, the original power force looked so much better, and also why did you guys switch to a stretch hose in 2012 on the old powerforce

pleas go pack to your original Bissell powerforce bagged and baggless that had the head ligt that was the best Bissell vacuum and pls go bck to the bossell pro heat 2x multy surface carpet washer I hade both of these produc and they lasted forever I got you Bissell cleave view the new one and it lasted 3 months I repaclec the filter and more now I'm using a hoover powermax from the 5 I think and when I'm not I'm yousing my hoover tepo because you dicountinued your best prodeckts pls bring them back I loved that vacuum

I bought this vacuum recently and the bag that came with it looks different than the bags I bought at the store they are style 7. They have a rubber circle in the middle and I cannot get the bag to attach! Can anyone help? I like the vacuum but it’s useless if I can’t find bags for it!

So if anyone is still having trouble with their bags, Bissel's responses aren't likely to help. If your bag doesn't SEEM to fit as the hole is too big, you need to understand that you are trying to get the rubberish material to surround the suction hole, not the cardboard. This means that you need to try to stretch the rubberish material around the hole with your hands. This can be an annoying and tedious process, but eventually it will work.
It is not simple to replace a bag and this demonstration doesn't help. There is nothing to help with installing the new bag. It does not fit over the suction area.

The old model had the same problem The vacuum is too light and the bag collar is too small.
What you need to do is open the new bag up a bit with your fingers then lay the vacuum down on it's back to push the bag on.
I can't get mine on either. I had the correct bags and they fell off so customer service sent me bags that are not staying on either. We only used it for a few days with the original bag and had to change it. I am trying again to get the bag to stay on.
