Awesome video! I had name of the wind in mine!
I loved this review, you did a really great job and I can feel how much these stories mean to you, I even got a little teary. 🥹
Great List! I have been dying to read John Gwynns Bloodsworn Series becasue those covers are TOP NOTCH!
So Im stoked to see the series on someones top 10! 😄
Thank you!! Yeah I love the Bloodsown Series so much haha
Nice list, some cracking books in there.
A book that I recently read that has reached my top 10, probably even top 5 is Empire of the Vampire... I was captivated by it.
I really enjoyed Empire of the Vampire as well, I am planning on starting the second book here soon!
I’m about to start wrath in a few days. Pumped! I’ve flown through the first 3
Im so excited for you, enjoy the journey! Truth and Courage!
Encouraging to see a lot of my fantasy TBR on the list
Hope you enjoy them as much as I did :)
Words of Radiance was my no. 1 favorite book for almost a decade! Nothing else even came close. Hell, my paperback copy looks just as battered as yours at 12:54. Truly an inspirational novel that changes who you are as a person!
The whole list looks exactly as I would have made it myself, except Lies of Locke Lamora. I hated every inch of that novel, idk why. Maybe I would put Abhorsen there instead.
You've got a new subscriber now ☺
Thank you for watching!! Haha yeah my words of radiance is a well loved/worn book.
Great video! Ive been reading The Way of Kings and it's so good, think i might take a break from stromlight and read some other cosmere books such as Warbreaker before i get to Words of Radiance
Warbreaker is a good one to stay in the cosmere but to take a break from The Stormlight Archive. I really liked it!
@@GuyReads yeah I'm going to read it after I finish the mistborn trilogy too, since I still haven't finished the well of ascension
Thank you!
You read awesome books! 🙏
Subbed
Thanks for watching and subbing!!!
Great video. I've only read two of the books on this list, Harry Potter and Abercrombie...but pretty much all of the others are on my TBR. I have read Mistborn by Sanderson and Im getting ready to start Elantris. Have you read any Ryan Cahill yet?
Thanks for watching!! I haven't yet, but I have heard many great things about the Bound and the Broken! I really want to start it soon
Hi 👋 like Brandon Sanderson books 📚 good top ten list of list!! 😊
Thank you! And Im a Sanderson fan too!
Streets of Laredo by Larry McMurtry is also stellar. Enjoyed the video.
Thanks for watching! I loved Streets of Laredo too, I still need to read Comanche Moon and Dead Man's Walk though :)
Lonsome Dove is my favorite! Jade City is fantastic and Jade War is a great follow up. I messed up and started the Age of Madness trilogy before the original First Law trilogy. It was still good.
Im working my way through Jade War now and been loving it! Haha I feel like it would still work even if you messed up the order
Great picks! Our tastes overlap to quite an extent-if you check out my own recent favorite books vid you’ll see a few overlaps, and a couple where I chose a different book in the same series. Unbroken was a great nonfiction read for me too!
Just finished watching it and another great video! Yeah we do have a lot of overlap. Great minds think alike right? You also had a lot of books that I just added to my TBR thanks to you haha !!
@@GuyReads love to hear it!
I'll check out John Gwynne and Patrick Rothfuss🎉 (I also want to start with the Sanderson world) It is crazy that sometimes genres that we don't read too often can manage to be have books that transform into our favourite books ever ❤
I definitely agree that it's so crazy but also awesome that other genres have these amazing books you wouldn't think you would enjoy. Good luck on your reading journeys :)
I really love Lonesome Dove. It's long so read a few pages a day and you'll find a lot of humor in it.
I only read two books from this list and I liked them both
If you like Unbroken, you should check out In the Heart of the Sea: The Tragedy of the Whaleship Essex by Nathaniel Philbrick. Much like Unbroken, I had to keep reminding myself that it isn’t a work of fiction, that real people actually had these experiences. Oh, and it’s the true story that inspired Herman Melville to write Moby-Dick.
Thank you for the recommendation! I haven't heard of that one before, I will definitely have to check it out!
Louis Zamperini is from my hometown!
That's awesome!
Read all but unbroken!!
Nice!! It's a good one if you like biographies
I actually wrote words of radiance not Brandon
Can you write my homework essay too?
Diary of a wimpy kid was ROBBED 😡
I couldn't include Diary of a Wimpy Kid or else it would've taken up all ten spots
Finally harry potter gets some attention
Ah yes finally the most famous and best selling series of all time finally gets some attention lol
😂
You ser cute
