Most songs go 16 bars for the verse pre chorus and chorus so that’s why they end up usually being the same length enough to fit

I think a big reason why these sing a little too early videos work so well is because in the original video the chorus essentially repeats itself twice. By delaying the beat, it essentially leads up to the first chorus acting as the pre-chorus and acting as the build up towards the second chorus which has a stronger “beat drop” esque sound.
A video that comes to mind is by PANTONELAY favorite by NCT 127 but I rearranged it and they say saranghae tto saranghae a lot more, and they add the chorus again and use the first one to build up to the second which makes it sound (imo) a lot cooler

I love this. Because each section is 16 bars, is a common practice for producers to move to the next sections or add/remove elements so it doesnt become boring and our minds keep themselves interested on what we are listening to. The reason why these edits work so good on Itzy songs its because they do keep the tempo and key of the vocals relevant to the key of the instrumental the whole time. This "mood' changes on the edits show the power of the instrumental.
