  • I was really shocked how this work so I decided I had to share. One issue is the static electricity it creates.

This is just the best kind of CZcams video. Smart, not selling anything, very clever. I love it. Thanks

Nice!!! Extremely useful - the cost of the official adaptor is actually offensive. I came here looking for a solution, and you provided it. Thanks, and greetings from England!

Hello England! I completely agree with you John about the cost for an adapter. I was tired of taping my vacuum hose to the sander so this a-ha moment worked out for me. Thanks for watching!

I connected mine with duct tape 😂. It works but I like your idea so much better. Thanks for this vid

NO, use a flexible pipe connector that you can buy that has two different size ends and clamps to make it air tight. This will easily assemble and disassemble unlike the solution shown in the video.

Nah this is a better solution. No need for clamps and this method is also air tight using friction.

You can. It's called a DWV9000 universal quick connector

Ouch . . . my knees wouldn't last five minutes working like that! Nice tip, which I plan to use on my sander.

Love the guitar solo in your video!!! Being a musician I nearly fell off my chair. Less is more, so cool !!! Charrrr - Also how can you have an entire company of engineers designing a sander and no one thinks about the problem of "Dust" and connection to a vacuum, how retarded is that!!! Your solution is so simple, it will work, there's not much that can do wrong!! Perfect thank you!!

Once the pipe is fitted onto the sander, can it be removed easily?

For those that don't have a blowtorch you can use a heat gun. They have to start making these attachments universal😂

That might be how you make an adaptor...but not how to hold a sander or sand the wall 😂

Couldn’t you just bond the PVC with PVC cement?
