If Cormani entered the portal because he was dismissed from the team for smoking weed and not because he was unhappy, makes him using marijuana THE issue. Universities could possibly be sanctioned. While the State of Colorado won’t prosecute anyone for buying and ingesting marijuana, a person can be persecuted by the NCAA and banned from all competitive college sports. It’s not like he didn’t know because I’ve heard CP tell all of them that vaping and weed smoking was grounds for automatic dismissal. There’s a life lesson here but sadly, it’ll go right over his head.
