hehe I have to try not to 'free range' these.. My last attempt I put the bin into the garden temporarily, it rained and they all came out to play at the top of the bin / lid, I felt so guilty i let them out into the garden. better luck this time!

As you already know, mine arrived the day before yours :-) so far they have kept themselves within the bedding, over the 24 hour mark already, after 48 I'll feel sure that they are happy in there and relax a bit. No more overnight Worm Watch lol

I have a wormery but I do tend to neglect it. It gets waterlogged and I end up with worm soup - not nice! But it`s too heavy to move now. I use the tea to feed my plants in pots.

You tube is an amazing community and resource, I felt a lot better this time starting out. I am lucky to have great support from you all.

Ahh that's a shame. Would a cover be an option as its there already? Worm tea is a good thing though.
seems strange that your worms came to you in plastic bags. did they have holes poked in the bags for air?
Hi, no holes but the substrate was fluffy and air in the bag.
