I remember crying my heart out as a 10 year old, because I couldn't find a way to enter narnia through my mum's wardrobe. Today, many years later, I find myself crying for not too different reasons. The nostalgia this brings me is fucking overwhelming, man.
Narnia was my childhood and I retain it's magic to this day. Every time I see a fancy wardrobe I have to resist the urge to climb inside and look for Narnia.
I went to Narnia once, I got there by falling through a mirror frame with no mirror, and there I was, right in the heart of Tehishbaan, hottest place I've ever been, and right during the festival of Tash, believe you me, you don't wanna be a son of Adam on the day of that festival believe you me.
The sunrise over Eagles nest ranch . What a,place it is the lonely mountain with a large house built on its summit. The mines of the dwarves make a great place to put all that stuff that would vanish from regular evidence lock up. Then there is the barn and the riding facilities. Where I had trained for shows,or just kicked back . The wooded canyon of the memory forest. And me on skip swift as the wind flying over fences or chilling under a big oak down by the river. Tears. Truly what a fantastic home.
It's 2022 , i belive that we all need Narnia ... , maybe here we will not have it.... but I'm sure that we all have been in that world , the world of magic , honor , adventure and of course ... the impossible. We shall go again in that world one day , and...maybe... who knows? We will meet there. To Narnia !
So do I. I'm excited for Fantastic Beasts and where to find them. You may have heard that the Silver Chair is gonna get made, but tbh I'm not really that excited for it.
the reason im not excited is because 3 things, 1- I dont like Mark Gordon, 2- im very sad that Walden Media wont be involved with the series anymore & 3- im worried about the 'Brand New Franchise" thing, they just cant ignore the first 3 films, they just cant!!
Narnia and LOTR will forever be a huge part of my life. I adore the books, the films, the music and the way they shaped my childhood. Thank you Lewis and Tolkein 💕
This is one of the best soundtracks of the entire film industry. This movie, this soundtrack, these characters, is my childhood. Harry Potter and Narnia will always be my childhood movies. And I'm so grateful, really.
This song has made me long for Narnia, but in a.. different way. I feel as if I’d been to Narnia. As if I’d wandered lush green forests, as if I’d trained and fought and volunteered to lay down my life, as if I’ve led and served and seen how entire armies would fall away at the sight of that Lion. Sometimes I look around and feel as if I was Lucy, having fallen out of the wardrobe and wondering how I could go on ordinarily after spending most of my life in Narnia, as if I’m far older. When I walk with my Aslan, my Lord, I feel like I’m back in Narnia and that this world is worth facing if it means I get to spend more time with Him.
I can see the date in the video which is December 9, 2005. I got hit so hard with all the childhood feels and I'm on the verge of crying...I hope I'm not the only one
I'm just going to say that this movie is what got me into every other fantasy thing out there. Dragons, hobbits, elves, you name it. It inspired me to write! It helped me come to love soundtracks like these. This was the gateway to a lot of kids' imagination, it unlocked the doors for me, and it will continue unlocking the doors to fantasy for many years to come...
I always come back to Narnia soundtracks whenever I feel like the world is filled with too much fights, dramas or opinions about things. It keeps me calm and sane, as if it really provides an escape from here.
To the glistening eastern sea, I give you Queen Lucy the Valiant. To the great western woods, King Edmund the Just. To the radiant southern sun, Queen Susan the Gentle. It actually exists! C.S Lewis as a christian described through his artistic work what heaven and God (Aslan) really looks like. If you want to know the truth about it then watch the passion of Christ :) Have a nice day!
I used to be able to. After two weeks in a row of doing it, my subconscious somehow convinced me that I could wake up with the super-powers I'd given myself if I could just 'break through the barrier'. So I landed, focused, and jetted upward....into an invisible wall. It actually hurt, but determined to be able to fly and have telekinetic powers, I backed to the ground, and tried again, moving faster this time. Again, I was stopped. Gritting my teeth and feeling angry, I shot like a rocket towards 'the barrier', and then woke up with a splitting headache. That was over a decade ago. I can't lucid dream anymore except on very rare occasion.
Stefan Smilkovski long live Narnia, I truly wish we can exist in a world like Narnia where all life is precious and all have a place to live and be happy....
'' For Narnia and for Aslan ! '' I listen to this while I am studying and the old days come to my mind. I will watch the movies again in the coming days.
Hello there~ I am very happy to write that i just started reading the Chronicles of Narnia. I get the "i wish i could forget everything so i could read it and discover everything again" feeling a lot, so I will make sure to enjoy every moment of this journey. and I know it is going to be wonderful. The title of this OST made me wanna write this comment. I'm going to Narnia, and hopefully meeting you all there~

I miss Narnia so much, this music actually gives me shivers. Such a beautiful piece. Can anyone else imagine Peter Hollens doing an acapella of this? That'd be so majestic.
i always imagine myself in Narnia as i listen to to this i wish there was a world like Narnia where you can explore and go on a adventure this world is boring!

I’m playing this during a funeral procession as we travel to the cemetery. When I knew her, I was a little girl and she was the grandmother everyone had. She made afghans, cookies, and sold meal tickets for cheap to everyone because she loved them. She gave our priest lists of people who needed his prayers. She loved everyone, and everyone loved her. Playing this makes me think that she’s most definitely with God in His Kingdom. It’s not at all sad, but sings of a new beginning in the happiest place anywhere. In the words of Narnia, the dream is over. The morning has come. RIP Donna Longos
I feel the same with my grandmother, she was a very loving woman who would not hesitate to help anyone in need, she was a bus aide for the handicapped and that really touched me because I am disabled myself. She always knew what to do when it came to helping me, she made sure I knew how to do things even though I was blind. She never babied me, she expected me to act my age. I remember I would wake up at like 6 AM and she’d be awake since four in the morning. We would sit there and she would drink her coffee and I would eat the cinnamon rolls or biscuits that she had made. She made Christmas dinner every year, with turkey ham and all the side dishes. She would even make fudge and different desserts, and every time we would go we would have pork roast with rice potatoes carrots and corn. She was an amazing cook but more importantly she was an amazing woman. I will always remember her and even though I am going through a lot right now due to my bipolar disorder and my anxiety, I will always do my best to fight the good fight with Jesus by my side, I know she’s in heaven and her battle with cancer inspires me to keep going and fight hard. I will see her in heaven I know it, just as I will see Jesus.
@@cassieforeman97 God bless your grandmother. She sounds like such a strong and amazing woman. Keep fighting. I'm sure she's watching you from heaven and couldn't be more proud. I'll pray for you tonight.
The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe..one of the first books i ever read. Beautiful story, so much imagination. This music just brings it back to life!
I always check my closet when I finished watching the movie. Then I remembered that you can only find Narnia if you're not looking for it. Still, I expect to see the light comes out of the closet even though I'm now 17.
“Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.” “I am sought of them that asked not for me; I am found of them that sought me not: I said, Behold me, behold me”
This brings me back to when I was a toddler. I practically grew up on this movie since it came out when I was 1 and have had the DVD since as long as I remember. When me and my sister were young we used to have sword fights with butter knives and pot lids and pretend our closets were doors to narnia and made blanket forts. It was my childhood and brings such nostalgia now that I have so much less time on my hands in high school🥲
I once had a dream where I was getting ready for school, and it was dark outside. I was putting on some jeans when I noticed the a light coming from the bottom of the inside of my closet. It went up along the side of the thing wall, and created a rectangle of light inside my closet. Too bad I had to wake up in the real world to actually get ready before I could get closer....
"All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not."
hi Vasco, I have created an hour extended version of this beautiful track. Visit my channel and check it if you'd like to. Don't worry NO SPAM! Enjoy and cheers 😃
This was in my GCSE music exam. I knew it was this piece, it was so hauntingly beautiful. They played it from 2:30, and we all just sat there enjoying it, and forgetting to do the questions on it :p

Narnia, i miss u.
It’s so beautiful I can’t
I always check my closet when I finished watching the movie. Then I remembered that you can only find Narnia if you're not looking for it. Still, I expect to see the light comes out of the closet even though I'm now 17.
“Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.”
“I am sought of them that asked not for me; I am found of them that sought me not: I said, Behold me, behold me”
Still listening this. Proud of myself for reading and watching Narnia Chronicles.
That poster says " In theatres December 9, 2005" , It feels so good looking at old movie posters for some reason!!
Repent, for the Kingdom of God is at hand. Rapture of the church, fake alien invasion, wars, famine etc.. Follow Jesus dear one!
@@discipleadamos9527 Godly repentance, not Judas repentance.
I can't believe it has been over 16 years since this masterpiece came out. I'm proud to be the same age
Its the only music who can me travel so easy.I love that! The Narnia is one of my favorite movie💖💋
I first saw this movie in 2007 as a 1st grader. And I watched it over 9000 times between the years 2007-2016. And I watched it again early in 2023.
Hahahha great imagination
"All things were made by him;
and without him was not any thing made that was made.
In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not."
I don’t know why I am crying 😭
I miss my childhood 😭
Me too and this movie was released on my year🤧🤧🤧🤧
