In all fairness he was introduced with the highest praise and acknowledgement by Tabla Artist. In any musical interlude one aspect is the lead and others support.
Example the great M. S. Subhalakshmi may have been accompanied by a violin maestro, but the concert is hers,

Amazing explanation of Rhythm. Well said and very precious!!!
Most doctors will also tell you there are many Rhythmic Cycles are evident in the human Body. An Rhythm unbalance (Bai-Tala) will cause health and Mental problems. A number of exercises like walking, Jogging, Yoga and Ti-Chi help to bring this balance. Rhythm and Tempo have resonance effect on heart rate / blood pressure.
A number of Religious Scriptures, Prayers also have rhythm and tempo. Just listen to any Service being performed and the difference between a Service Wedding and when some pass-away. The Sikh Religious Scriptures are totally in music and Rhythm.

    Fascinating video!
There is a similar onomatopoeic system used in the classical form of Scottish Highland Bagpipe music known as "Piobaireachd" (Gaelic for "bagpiping")... This system itself is called "Canntaireachd", which translates as "chanting"... They are part and parcel; traditionally, a piper would be expected to be able to sing what he plays, and visa versa.
For instance, a piper who "speaks" Canntaireachd (not all pipers can, unfortunately) will easily be able to play the melodies of Piobaireachd just by hearing the words of Canntaireachd, (even if they are recited rather than sang) and will also be able to recite or sing the Canntaireachd just by hearing the Piobaireachd... These words are not "lyrics" (since the words themselves have no meaning other than that of the musical sounds they represent) nor are they akin to "solfeggio" (do-re-mi, sa-re-ga, etc), since they convey not only the pitch of the main melody-note, but also the rhythmically essential and stylistically obligatory "grace-notes"which are unique to Highland Bagpipe music. (To some degree, written Canntaireachd can also indicate the proper rhythm and expression of a tune as well, via oral tradition, in the same way Americans know the musical rhythm of "Oh say can you see, by the dawn's early light" just by reading the words.)
"Hienodrodin, o che ve hodin (×2), tro veche en o he, hihodin."
(That's six bars of slow tempo music; lots of info, well coded; about 45 seconds worth of tune!)

Not sure what that meant Devesh, but it was very disrespectful.
Great to know that Giuseppe. Would love to check out a CZcams video if there is one. Thanks! The rhythmic language is always fascinating and its always interesting to see how they converge. Right here in this video, Bickram Ghosh comes from North Indian tradition of Tabla, and speaking in a more North Indian Tabla dialect, if you will, called "Bol", and Arun comes from a south Indian, and hence speaking in "Konnakol" dialect. But they converse perfectly well. It'd be a great jam to have such a conversation taking place across the nation.
