Watching this hit me with a blast wave of nostalgia, also interesting how the Trislander sounds like a jet despite being a tri-prop of all things. It’s saddens me how most turboprops including those shown in the video have since been lost to time.
If this was in the Summer of '99, I was working for British Midland at Jersey as cabin cleaner along with Barney and Pete and a couple of other lads. I remember we serviced the BM aircraft (Saab 340s, 737s, F-70s, F-100s) along with the Lufthansa and Braathens 737 aircraft, amongst others. Great times working at EGJJ back in those days and a brilliant video :)
