When MP Kajendran made a controversial statement in Parliament yesterday, Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka replied that there were no innocents in Prabhakaran's family.
Noting that Prabhakaran and his youngest son had been in positions in the LTTE until then.
MP Kajendran said that Prabhakaran's 11-year-old son Balachandran had surrendered to the Sri Lankan army and was given water and biscuits and later killed.
Responding to this, the then Army Commander Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka said that there were no innocents in Prabhakaran's family and that they had positions in the LTTE from Prabhakaran to his youngest son.
