I unknowingly discovered a yard sale / garage sale grail! It was an amazing haul all around but this one find definitely takes the cake. Yard Sale / Garage Sale ride along!

Folks, when I saw Froggy pull up to my house the following day after our deal I figured he was just having a super slow garage sale day. When he told me he found a grail piece, I was excited for him! “Big congrats, man! I knew there had to be some good ones in there!” When he pulled out some extra cash to bless me and my family with…I was more than a bit dumbstruck (I mean, just look at my confused face 😅). I told Froggy on Friday (before he made an offer on all of the pops, records, and toys) that I knew he would treat me right. But I didn’t expect this.
Thanks again for your generosity, bro. I know we’ll work out some deals next season. 🤘🏻

Yep, I agree 100%. Its basically the wild west at yard sales. You pay for an item at the agreed upon price and thats it. Lets say you bought an item like a VCR and they said yeah, it works and it ends up not working. Tough sheot. Its on the buyer to take that risk of buying something untested or not. Like wise, if someone sold me a gaming console for 5 bucks because they dont know if it works and it ends up working with say a very rare game inside and you can sell it for say $400, there is no obligation to go back to the seller and give them more money. Thats how I view yard sales. Now, if you have a connection with a seller and want to keep that connection going, then sometimes you break those rules to keep them happy to keep that connection good.

I have seen so many channels where they throw the goods around , speak to the sellers as if they owe them and are just downright rude. I refuse to watch them and this is why i have just subbed to you. I am getting through your videos and you have taught me a lot. I love how you pay up so you and the seller are happy with it! And you don’t try to just get everything for nothing,Some of the other resellers try to get everything for nothing and they don’t care about the seller as long as they can make a fortune for it for them
Odessey and Oracle is an amazing album! When I was a teen, my girlfriends Dad worked for Nimbus records at their Monmouth factory (South Wales) - they pioneered compact discs and would use records from their own collections to digitise onto CD. O&O was one of those and I still have that original ‘test CD process’ pressing at home :-)
The Zombies are still touring and they still sound great (after nearly 55 years)

My eyes bugged out when I saw him pull that record. That's easily in the park of $400 in that condition, also considering the hype sticker and shrink.
Odessey & Oracle is my favorite album of all time and the one my late husband and I fell in love to dating in ‘96. He was a musician (The Hate Bombs, The Evidents) and passed away at a very young 54 only 5 months ago. This Will Be Our Year was “our song” and was played at our wedding when we finally decided to tie the knot just a few years ago! I love to see when someone truly appreciates this album. We saw the first gig of their 50th anniversary tour, 3rd row in a really small venue in Safety Harbour FL. They were as good as I’d hoped for! I’m so glad I happened upon your video…your find sparked some great memories as I haven’t been able to listen to it without him.

Definitely get that card graded! I sold one in almost that same condition in 1990 for $65, that card has increased in value substantially since then! Great find and as always another great video!!
@@brettsacre8755 For sure needs to be graded. Gem mint 10 PSA recently sold for $100,000. It is off centered, so a 10 isn't gonna happen but, 8,8.5, maybe a 9 could happen. Still could get 4 digits $$.

Awesome album, awesome buy. "Time of the season" has to be one of the rock all time early great songs and it's the last track on the album if I remember correctly. "What's your name? Who's your daddy? Is he rich like me?"...Classic lyrics from The Zombies. Every time you go into the music stuff I'm strangely proud of you for knowing and liking the quality stuff a younger guy may overlook.

I agree with your opinion that finds at garage sales are like the wild west. I've yet to have any seller give me money back on an item they sold me that they over charged on. However, when it's a someone you know that you got a good seller/buyer relationship with or someone who has been good to you in the past, it's a cool thing to do to be able to give back when you made out on a find. Cool thing too do!

I’m a recent subscriber, collector, ebayer, and estate sale regular. I’m also a huge fan of the zombies and kinks. I used to work at a record store in highschool (in 2001) and I remember buying a pristine copy of “odyssey and oracle”, the first “the stooges” album, and “the left banke” (walk away Rene). I bought them for the store for great prices but immediately put them all in my own collection.
Odyssey and oracle is one of the greatest albums of all time and criminally underrated. I’m sure you’re also a fan, but if not, o highly recommend “sf sorrow” by the pretty things, and “parachute”, both favorites of mine.

I'm a huge baseball fan, my team is the Cleveland Guardians, I don't know a whole lot about baseball cards, I have lots of them, I just enjoy looking at them and reading the stats and stuff. That big box would keep me busy for quite a while.
I recognized a lot of the records you bought and I can remember as a teenager buying a lot of those new 😉

That Kobe sells for around $100 ungraded - graded 9 is selling for around $400 - That card looks clean. I would send it off to get graded maybe a pop 1 spa 10 - if it comes back a 10 I would say $800 card

I just love that the things that are the most valuable to you, are the things that are the most valuable to you. You could find a random $1000 item and it wouldn't be as exciting to you as finding a $10 piece that you want for your PC.

I once bought 5 box of random MTG (Magic the Gathering) to wallpaper my mancave/pc wall as I really need the back side of the card. As a bonus I got all the black cards and made them my ceiling decor. They are still holding on to this day. 2017~

I almost screamed when I saw the Halloween record. My mom had that exact same one when I was a kid. There is a fairly spooky story on side b that use to get to my imagination when I was younger. Funny how nostalgia gets you. I could almost hear the ghost in the story " mybaby have you seen my baby" so great.

I've collected, bought, and sold sportscards for 35yrs- still do about 200+ sales a week online- I would gladly HELP you out if you would like when you run across cards in the wild- I've seen you pass on sooooo many boxes with massive profit potential- I want nothing in return only the satisfaction of knowing someone else is becoming educated in the hobby.
It’s always fun watching you deal - what a great find! Recently I saw someone with teens in college talking about youths decorating with album covers; there were some great looking albums there
always buy protectors for pops. keeping the box in near mint is where the value comes from (after stickers ofc, proper convention stickers and stickers from specific stores drive the price up, especially over seas) I put all my pops in protectors because I learned that this is where all your value comes from with them. Also pop collectors are very specific about this stuff, at least in the UK/EU where I operate.
Having a proper convention sticker can double or even triple the value.
The urge of having to waiting for him to drop a new video everytime makes it that much more worth it to watch every single time !!! Love all the vibes you give out ✨️ 😌

I love seeing sports cards finds! I recently found a haul of 50s and 60s cards with some other stuff mixed in. It's my best find to date with several personal collection pieces in it!
That's how I find some of my best things. And going through Alleys and finding stuff when people move out . Or get evicted . Or when astat
sales through the last things away.

Nice i did the same thing with a local seller that has always been good to me, payed $20 dollars for some random magic cards, but turned out to be worth quite a bit more went back told them and payed them much more.

I'm from the UK and today I picked up a 1991 first press of Nirvana- Nevermind in n/ mint condition from a charity shop (thrift store) with the misprint inner sleeve- one side upsidedown, for £16. They based the price on a new copy from a record store. I was buzzing to say the least!
