I’m currently watching this on 10 mins now
Speedy recovery , love and light brother 🙏
Strength my brother
Askies, I hope both of you are well.
I like how he doesn't rush to answer questions. He takes his time to think 1st. His narration is top notch👌🏾
When you were born somebody had to bathe you and take care of you, people you don’t even know. Same thing when you die. This is very humbling and makes you wanna help where you can as a human being.
The person/people who comes up with these topics and finds the guests are really doing an amazing job.
The presenter Relebogile delivers 🙌👏👌all the time. What an amazing host. For me on this episode what got me were her facial expressions😆😅.
My wish is for the SABC 3 numbers grow, the CZcams channel too.Nna yena I first watch on S3 then come back here 😀.

Yoh this is some scary iish. I have massive respect for people who are in this type of work. It makes you wonder what would become of us if no one was brave enough to do it.

What a brave young man I don't think I can survive working at a mortuary I wouldn't survive geez. You really have to be very brave to be able to.
It's the living that you should be afraid of the dead cannot do you any harm
He is so professional making us understand that it’s like any other job. You get there, do what you have to, then leave.
This guy seems very humble and he is just loveable man.
Nakisani is remarkable. He explained his work with so much respect, what a kind and gentle man. Thank you for sharing this very interesting story with us.
Let's unpack from Kenya 🇰🇪🇰🇪
I respect all people who work at funeral industry
This guy is just so lovable..A beautiful human being.iam so Proud of him like he's my own brother.Chilled ❤️👌😊
This young man just made me realize that they work under pressure and mistakes do happen. It's a lot for them too ❤️
As high school teachers, we need to come to terms with the fact that our kids have some much going on for them except just schooling. 😭
This is my elder brother. It's very sad that this interview was done on the 24th October and a week after he almost lost his life, he was involved in accident. It was almost broadcast posthumously. He is currently sitting at home he can't walk both his legs were broken
Sending love and hugs to him! He will heal 🌸and walk again
He is healed by the blood of Our Lord Jesus
😔 wishing him healing
He will walk again!! Sending more love and strength ❤❤

Lol 😆🤣😂relebogile's face today I can't stop laughing at her,she seems so scared 🤣😂😆😅
This guys is deep and it works for him.
He does not involve his emotions and beliefs..in fact he feels nothing...if he felt everything it was gonna destroy him. Le nna if i was him i would have done the same 🤞
I was about to ask about this yoh I will be left traumatized
I remember when I had to dress my own brother, for some reason I was brave to do it and I just felt like it's was my way of saying goodbye and thanking him for being an awesome brother
You might have been in shock to give you the courage to do it
That's wonderful.
You're very strong. I could never do that.
Yes with family is bit easier.
Eish sad
I learnt a two new words "Coffining" and "Mortician" 🙌 🙌
We learn everyday my dear,nd the interviewee is so eloquent and well composed young person,Bingo.
Another new word for me is " Cemetery Master".

Yeah right !!!!??? Imagine how surgeons deal with failed operations etc.... They obviously have a number of people who've died in their hands .... But at the end of the day, the message needs to be delivered etc....
I agree.
Seeing dead bodies from the age of 14? 🙆🏾♀️🙆🏾♀️🙆🏾♀️ This guy is BRAVE!!! Mna i don't even look inside the casket at family funerals, imagine now working with dead bodies?! Yho! I'd faint! 😭🤣
😂😂😂
Andizi I’ve never gone to look at any funeral because what am I looking for
I respect him, I don't think I'd last an hour, I'd always be jumpy when someone walks around or in my operating room.
It’s scary 😳😳😳
Not really if you think of it because it's part of our journey that is why i respect morticians🙏🏾
Mina i will work ngoba it's work, plus these are people dead or alive who desperately need dignity, plus they wont hurt you ngoba they not coming back.... People have made seeing a dead person something so scary..
Which is not because umuntu who what's alive 2 minutes ago and dies 2 minutes later is still the same person ukuthi nje it's painful knowing the person dead..... I won't lie seeing corpses isn't pleasant... Vele
I love how his face lights up when he talks about his dad. Community is so important in an child's upbringing. I'm so glad he made an effort to know his extended family.
I salute you my brother so young yet so strong, calm and collected
Great respect for you young man , l never enjoy collecting a deceased family member from the gov hospital
That was true kindness, when he helped the deceased lady.God bless him and you reading this:)
Well-done boy, you turned out well remain in the right direction. Thank you Relebogile
I feel like this guy has blocked off so much and I’m so worried about the day he’ll wake up and start processing all those emotions it’ll be overwhelming! He is dissociated , in future he could experience ptsd , anxiety, depression and all that he’s putting up a strong face but he needs to be in touch with his emotions and possibly seek some psychological support just for the future . He talks about how he doesn’t react to certain aspects of this job eg the rituals and comforting, he’s blocking all those emotions off . I hope you see this and try to avoid future mental health issues because it’s real, you’re still a hero in my eyes but take time to take care of your mental health dear.
The day you start watching morticians videos, you begin 5o understand that they do take care of their mental health especially if it's their passion😊.There is one on YT who's based in America and the other one in India who retrieves dead bodies from rivers, lakes, seas. He says that he enjoys the work so much.
If you think of it as any other career, as he explained it so well himself, you'll realize that he has not dissociated. He is working professionally and is so respectful of his career.
Damn this bruella is strong & wise about it all. The managing of his & other peoples emotions, respect for the activity & stuff. Dope interview questions as well from Relebogile
From this discussion, I have come to appreciate everybody that's involved with attending to dead people .
I worked at the Hospice where we were losing patients more often, now i'm working at the Hospital, i am still dealing with dead people, meaning to clean and to wrap the body, ready for undertaker.
I don't get used to see someone dead. It is heart breaking to see a person suffering from pain, at the same time it's not nice to see a person passed.
I think a lot and i picture the deceased for a long time.
You really help me by saying this i already pay money i wanted to do a diploma in nursing but if it involves dead bodies i really cant manage i wanted a breakthrough in my life as i have been hustling an office admin job and i dont get it so i wanted something that can give me jobs but honestly im not a strong person eho can close somebody s eyes wash dead bodies oh i wonder what can i do in order for me to get a job
Where you based
We need an interview with a paramedic ausi Relebogile🙏🏾
Your Bravery and Wisdom is everything. Much respect for you.
My Granny passed on early July and as the family we were afforded an opportunity to see her for the last time inside the coffin and I knew from that moment I'll be dealing with crippling trauma. The sight of a casket creeps me out, now a dead body is a whole different story even though it was of a person I knew and loved dearly. Since that day, I haven't been able to sleep at home let alone be in the house alone. It breaks my heart but it's my reality and people close to me do not understand it at all.
Your granny was a spirit in a body, just like you and the rest of us. She used that body to express her love for you, to hold when you were a baby, to hug you when you fell trying to walk for the first, to hug and hold you when someone hurt you as a such. Through the same body she continued to express her love, support and protection throughout her life with you. In the later years of her life she didnt have to do much but her presence through that body was everything. The lifeless body you saw represent an end of a journey, an end to her expressing herself through that body. She is loving you now from a distance. For a while her energy or sense of her spirit or the emptiness left by her departure will still feel the walls of her house. Accept her passing and surrender, she still loves. Why would allow yourself to be tortured by an image of a body that was used to express love for you? You wouldnt have known your granny except through that body. Life is stages, in one stage she was in a body in another she is a spirit connected with the divine. Loving you from a distance this time around. You can also be grateful for mortuary people who tried their best to give you the best possible last image of her. Celebrate her life.
Pika Tee, you and I are one thing😭

After dealing with a mafia funeral parlour in 2019 that kept on threatening us the then grieving family, I researched more on morticians jobs and I think I can do the job for the sake of giving people a decent farewell. I believe that dead bodies or spirits cannot hurt anyone who is trying to help them.
There's a channel of a mortician I like watching and makes it look fun😊.She says even if she had another career being a mortician fulfils her as it's her passion. So,go for it girl and never look back😊.

I relate so so much to this guy's experiences shame because my mom also owns a funeral parlour. My highlight of this video was Relebogile's facial expressions 😂😂😂🤞🏾. My face was always like that until I also got involved in the family business, mind you I'm a girl.
It's really a sad reality shame. One thing I always pray for is to never come across a corpse that has eyes wide open😩, I think I would die or pee on myself in that instant.

A very smart and matured young man he is. Keep the good work
I wish the best for him👍,#Respect. We have a lot traumatic stories from this industry, I used to work at a funeral home/mortuary as well as forensic unit and I honestly feel that I felt a sense of purpose during that period in firstly handling the deceased with dignity and dealing with the grieving families and give comfort. It’s imperative to be patient, peaceful and project strength when in this type of business as you dealing with families in a vulnerable state and you need to take a role of pillar.
Ncooh.. Thats so sweet ☺️☺️. Very true
Qq
I am sad to read a comment of his accident and subsequent inability to walk. He has such vast experience and knowledge to actually start his own practice.
I really want to thank such people who are doing great job, I personally don’t think I can manage to that 🙏
As I was commenting on this topic I didn’t know that in few hours I had loose my loved one 😓😓
Yoh, what an episode.
I had to be the one dressing my mom at the funeral parlour the day before her burial. I remember being so upset about the 2 men who worked there who were supposed help me. They just carried her like they didn’t care, they didn’t show any emotional concern when I cried, I mean not even give me a hug and I was in that room alone. I understand maybe they remove themselves emotionally but I wish they could be trained to learn to learn how to deal with mourning families.
Remember men naturally are instrumental not emotive like women, they want to see the work done, especially dealing with the deceased that's why they seem impersonal,my dear..its sort of adaptive mechanism because it's not nice to deal with the deceased, weshu.
I think these people go through a lot...they need counselling. Their emotions are numb. It is not that they dont care🥲
Remember you're NOT the ONLY customer they see, imagine if they were to hug, cry and comfort 10 people a day, ijoo! You were expecting a lot from them.
Or
They were honestly giving you space to say your goodbyes.
And some families have rites they need to perform so that also gives them a minute if they stay out of their way. In a sense .
They also do this on a daily. From 9-5. Sometimes longer.
Perspective, Sometimes a different set of lenses frees us.
Keep well
@@khanyisaqueenshandlale9413 i wouldn't say numb, but you can't go thru this day and day out and let it go thru to you. you've got a life to live .
I love how his aunt and uncle treated him. We always remember how adults treated us when we were children.
Appreciate the services he's offering. Something not many people would do. And you still dignify the family that lost.
I'd have sleepless nights. I appreciate people like this man for what they do.

The fact that you guys even decided to wear black, it made the whole thing soooo spooky😲. But I love your topics well thought of.

The guy is so brave and collected, I lost my dad 10th of November, I thought I understood death but NO!!! I always hear his voice and his face is always with me, I am failing to sleep 😭😭😭I break down everyday it's a month now, death is traumating,
It is indeed, the trauma stays for a long while. I would also hear his voice calling my name, but with time you begin to embrace the thoughts and images that brought the trauma. A month is still fresh, one day the tears will dry up and rather you will have a smile on your face remembering the precious moments shared.
@@makhadzicuba am so heart broken and it's affecting my kids and husband, I try to be strong but it's hard, my dad was my friend,

He walked us through it very well. Thanks for this topic!!! Great job to Relebogile. Great to know what actually happens behinds these eerie scenes.
When he described the last breath the dead body give after being put in a stretcher I almost threw my phone with horror 😱, but after he described the situation where he had to hide in a grave.. ...that lifted my spirit with laughter 🤗🤗🤗.
Honestly the job he does is commedable, requiring a lot of bravery.

Sis Lebo or whoever suggested this topic. Thank you so much! I cannot wait to watch, this is something I've always been curious about.🙏
😂😂 Rele's facial expressions. I kind of relate in some way. I'm a medical student so for the first 2 and a half years of my studying atleast once a week, we had to work with cadavers(bodies donated to science by families and unclaimed bodies from government hospitals). The room was ALWAYS cold and you had to literally touch and cut different parts of the body depending on the system we're studying. And we were taught to always respect those bodies cause they were someone's family. It truly was a humbling experience.
Amazing
😳 shuuuu! I think I'd drop out. I believe being a doctor is a calling. I respect doctors for dealing with such.

So educational. This is what I'd call dirty jobs that not everyone would do. I commend these type of people for doing what most of us wouldn't on a daily basis. They'll never run out of business because death comes everyday.

This young man looks wise beyond his years!
It’s Lebo’s facial expressions for me 😭🤣❤️
Great topic as usual 👌😁
What would we death-fearers do without these folks. This is more than just a business. It is more of a calling that one gets ordained for somewhat in this life ,an undertaker family friend once remarked to me. I guess most us we hardly express gratitude to these service providers once the funeral is over simply because we believe it was a business deal, finish. May I use your platform to express my gratitude to these fine gentlemen and ladies. In my parents' family I have seen them literally bury everyone from parents to siblings. Out of a family of ten, I am the only one still alive. Thank you for the show Relebogile...

It's a sad reality.
I had that thought too.... Bloody hurting
The people who go to the grave before and after...mmmmhhh, that sounds like suspicious activity.
Family matters lol, some do such to prevent their people being zombies.
Crazy world we live in unfortunately.
Very creepy
Culture and tradition differs from tribe to tribe. Not everyone conducts funerals the same way. Just like in some tribes they bury their people in the early hours of the morning, just after sunrise, in the afternoon or at night. It honestly just depends on the family and their culture.

When I realised the funeral parlour wasn’t owned by his biological father but by his uncle it all made sense. No sane father would expose his own kids to corpses at the tender age of 13/14!
Not really especially when it is a family business. Family leads and children get involved much earlier irrespective of the business. Just saying...
@@consumerwelfare845 Agreed that children get involved early in family businesses. However, a 13/14 year old boy washing, dressing and packing corpses in a morgue is just not normal! If his uncles’ own biological sons also started doing what he was doing at 13 years of age then I would understand. I would still maintain that the parent/uncle is reckless! I doubt it though, that his own biological children were dealing with corpses at that tender age. I can’t imagine a grade 8 pupil dealing with corpses on Fridays/Saturdays as a part time job.
I think he was preparing them to take over the business should anything happens to him. Someone mentioned that they do the same job but still they don't get used to the emotional side of dealing with the bodies. I would therefore think he was making his daughter and this young man hardcore for the future.
@@tshongwe9543 it may not be normal but those that I know who have funeral parlours, they train young so they can know how the business work including being able to help when under staffed!!
I have to agree with you…
I didn't think i was gonna finish this. Gosh i thought of the families who lost their loved ones.
What a tense episode
