Right now it goes about 40/41 on a straight away & will hit 45 downhill. So do you think changing the exhaust etc.... Will give it more tork & speed & is it worth it? @IFixShet  Před 21 dnem

@Smodlee wow that is so not accurate.... anytime you increase the performance of your ride you can expect a speed gain even if it's a miniscule amount if the engine is working at Peak Performance it will create more speed. Now if you want major fluctuations in speed then you start CVT tuning Big Bore kits, upgraded gearing, larger variator with custom belt for more travel for top end speed. You're not talking to a newbie bro I make my living on CZcams I get paid to do this you don't have to play this who is smarter game with me bro you're going to lose sorry that's just the facts scientifically if you hone an engine to its Peak Performance with fuel and Air it will allow the engine to go faster. However that being said it can only travel as high as the variator will allow it to go. Now that we've got that out of the way is there anything else you would like to try to say to make yourself seem intelligent because I make videos for beginners so they can understand how this stuff works. Just bought one (A Ice Bear), 2022 49cc gy6. pretty cool little devise but allot of details were missed (bought it in the crate) like a short in the tail light that turned out to be a poorly placed connection, a kink in the fuel line under the gas tank causing me to spend time removing plastic panels and finding the problem that I shouldn't have to look for.
Don't know about the unlimited cdi (mostly because the manufactures never use them anymore to limit speed).

I have used 103 (airplane fuel) as it is available close to my house and it helps in the summertime if you can find it. Mixing 104 octane boost will also help but you have to be careful to add the precise amount and only add it to near empty tank right (seconds) before refueling or it will eat the rubber lines up (including both vacuum and fuel lines).
Starts better and runs cooler at around 100 octane for a long highspeed run. These little 50's struggle so much everything counts.

@@IFixShet If you really want to advance the timing just wallow the holes on the trigger and physically move it. that is the only way to actually advance the timing on these motors. All the cdi does is try to extrapolate the trigger timing from the first few turns and then fire sooner (before the trigger passes) and although math is good, a 10 dollar cdi is not not that good at it.
Saw a vid on it but can't find it right now. This guy tried the blue and red boxes but went back to his stock cdi, elongated the holes on his trigger and used a timing light to set his advance. @@IFixShet hey, I bought it used and the previous owner said it stood still for about a year.
I changed the battery, put fresh gas in it and cleaned the carb. Tried to test drive it and it ran okay for about 2 min.
Then it started stuttering below 4k. I stopped to maybe find something wrong and when I went to start it it didn't go above 1500rpm full throttle.
After I started it multiple times (all not going higher than 1.5k) I turned it off, kicked it a couple of times and then started it full throttle. This made it climb in rpm again and I was able to keep it above 3-4k to drive home.
At home I tried adjusting the needle, it already was on the second to lowest setting, first I raised it (middle setting) then lowered it (lowest setting). Both times the engine handled the same...
      It is a huatian ht50qt26 from 2008.
      The jet says size 80.

Wrong main jet for that needle setting. May be too rich or to lean depending what throttle position you are in. Remember these needles are tapered for fuel metering. So this adjustment has many variables. I'd say you are flooding it with fuel. Try going back one or two slots. Moving that adjustment radically should give you radicle results be they be good or bad for performance.
Remember moving the needle clip to a lower slot gives you more fuel sooner and your rpm's may be loo low to burn that extra gas at that particular rpm.
My guess is it's flooding (too rich) at that setting.

An easy way to tell what you're doing is just take the plug out And compare it to the plug chart On Google it will tell you everything you need to know about how to tune your engine with without going through the painstaking process of just throwing jets at it and hoping for the best

@@IFixShet Agreed man... There are so many variables to carbs (like airbox or no airbox, emission controls, no emission controls, etc.) that no one solution works for every setup.
I have one scooter that has the pair system and another that has a "in header pipe" catalytic converter with a reed valve in the exhaust and no pair system.
Radically different in carb tuning procedures.
Both are new from the factory.
