UTA Baseball vs TCU Horned Frogs

On Tuesday, April 4, 2017, the UT-Arlington Mavericks (14-15) hosted the third ranked team in the nation, TCU Horned Frogs for their second matchup of the year. Things got off to a rocky start for UTA. Starting pitcher, Jordan West, walked the first three TCU batters. He was quickly pulled from the game. The Horned Frogs took advantage of the situation and took an early lead. UTA managed to get hits, but only scored one run. The Mavericks managed to start a late game rally and posted three more runs. Their ninth inning surge fell short. TCU gets the win. Final score, 5-4.
