The “mistake” packaging, along with the apology letter, will end up being a collectible that will be more valuable to “mistake collectors” and those selling will make money on it. Once they release how many were mistakes then the demand will really take place.
I usually buy encapsulated coins. I do not often buy bars and, in this situation, it would be blister pack or nothing.

I was thinking about grabbing a couple of these, but I am always 50/50 on Royal Mint products. I have had wonderful experiences and not so pleasant ones.
A royal celebration bar I received my bar yesterday 365, a beautiful piece I wonder if it was Atkinson's it certainly looks like it.
I like that bar. BTW I bought 3 of the 2023 Perth dragon bars from Monument Metals and was so disappointed 😔. They arrived all milkspotted!!! I was so mad and upset I saw a pickle carrot sheep! Warning to all my friends don't get those Perth dragon bars from Monument Metals. Thankyou
I love collecting British coins. I have at least one coin from each monarch from Ellizabeth I to Charles III. My favorite design on coins is the different Britannia's. It's heart breaking to see the Royal Mint's quality go down. I love our coins here in the U.S., but even Andrew Jackson saw Britannia's beauty. He ordered the mint to copy the seated liberty coins after Britannia.
Even though I live across the pond, I do really love the products from the Royal Mint. This is one bar that I am wanting to pick up. Hope when I get one, that it won't look like the one BYB got. I mean that blister pack looked like a pickle carrot sheep ran all over it. 😅🤣😂

I spoke to a dealer in the uk..ill not say who they are but i think they are same dealer…they said they didnt come in the blister pack…..which makes me very happy i cant stand those blister packs …i put mine in airtites and store them i guardhouse boxes..
I purchased the 10oz version yesterday they sure are beautiful sucks about the scratches the 1oz is pretty nice might need to get a few of those as well

I don’t understand why the Royal Mint and others can charge near spot for for gold but always way over charge for silver?
I know and understand that VAT is added to silver but even then it could still be cheaper.
8:11 Pickle carrot sheep. I got the silver one from Atkinsons and found out with no Assey card that it was supposed to be in so I'm getting it put in a free capsule.
From the USA, I bought 2 - 1oz bars and 1 - 10oz bar like that but no assay. Im not expecting them in assay. 10 oz bars showed mintage of 6,000. I believe the 1oz bar had the same. Im waiting to receive them.
I managed to get 5 ordered from Atkinsons shipping today love the look of them

How did you manage to purchase it with the blister pack? If the Royal Mint had no intention to offer the bar in such a blister pack?
Was it that some bullion dealers were supplied with bars in blister packs and some were not? And that was a business decision by the Royal Mint. And by mistake sent the wrong photos to one dealer.
Yes 365 great vid and thanks for sharing any bar that celebrates a year of old sausage fingers is pure bollox I may just purchase one in 2024 second hand without the dumb premiums vat and blister packs 😂😂😂
The mint messed up the dealers, I got a call from one yesterday about my order.
I also ordered a 3rd coronation bar to be delivered to my home. I got a mail from the RM to say that they have a supply problem and cannot ship until the end of October, I purchased 2 coronation bars of 1st day of issue to be held in the RM vault It makes me wonder if they have them or they just tell me they have I might ask for one to be delivered see how long that would take if it’s on the shelf I should get it within a week

365. Nice to know I am not the only one who makes a mistake. LOL. We are all human. Nice to know they are willing to make corrections. BTW, I do want to exchange stickers, etc. BTW #2, I did get new channel rounds for my channel and WIFEY's channel - Dog World and You LLC. If you want any, can you clue me on how this works for international and UK? I know I bought small gold and some silver from BYB, and him sending silver was more problems for him than gold. I think that is normal in the UK. Hope to hear from you soon mate. (I LOVE Saying "Mate"!!!!)
Hello mate mate mate, yes I’d definitely like to receive some stickers & rounds from both your channels! My P.O. Box is in my videos description and from what I’ve heard it’s fairly easy to do, I’ve received a number of things from the US now as they’ve all gone smoothly so far. Make sure you say that it’s a gift and I think then it avoids all the export charges when it arrives here. I’ll get together a Mail call for you also mate

Great video buddy, mines still in the brown box waiting to be opened. If I'm honest I didn't actually want it in the blister pack just because non of my other bars are, but that being said if I'd payed for it in the blister pack I'd be pretty pi55ed off if it didn't come in one.
