Had the KC Vibe two years ago. Loved it. Would still own mine but moved up to a MC cart and traded it in for an Aria MKIII. Most of my gear is Rega and as they say “Rega likes to play with Rega”!
Once had a question so called Sutherland and Ron Sutherland himself answered and helped me out. Talk about customer service!!

It’s a fantastic product at that price point.

HI just bought the KC Vibe to replace my Project DS2. My Project started losing channel separation on my Mofi Ultradeck. I noticed you had the DS2 in the background on this video. Have you ever heard of this issue, it would play but like the song Girl from Ipanema the woman’s was totally muffled and distant yet the sax and Joao’s voice was front and center. I bypassed the DS and went directly to my Receiver and it played perfect. If you have any input I’d appreciate it. Thank you

We have not experienced that issue. Perhaps a tube is going bad. I suggest taking it to your dealer to have it checked out.

Hi! Thanks for the video! There is so much contradiction regarding surge protection for amps/phono stages. Is it preferable to plug my kc vibe directly into the wall outlet? Thanks for your help!

Hi Erin. Power conditioning is indeed a controversial topic. At the store, we plug our phono stages into power conditioners. However for most amps over 150 watts Class AB or 50 watts Class A, we plug those beasts directly into the wall.
