NON STOP TOPWATER BASS ACTION | Skinny Water Aussie Bass Fishing

In this video I bust out the yak and hit a local skinny water system chasing some Australian Bass on topwater cicada lures. In this video I use the Jackall Micro Pompadour and the Tiemco Soft Shell Cicada to land 5 Aussie Bass on the surface. The trusty Diawa Spike 44MR also makes an appearance as the sun gets high in the sky to snag me an additional bronze brute. Nice session mate! I stopped using the Soft Shells due to the poor hook up rate…I found that having double split ring on the trebles helps a bit but still not as good as the Dstyle with double treble

Thanks mate! Haven’t used the SSC in ages, it obviously triggered a lot of action from the fish but the hook up rate was really bad I won’t lie. I might try the double split ring and see how it goes because I love the action of the lure and how it casts and lands so softly on the surface.
