Rock on brother! For me the Stooges have ruled since I first saw the in 1968 at the Grande Ballroom. So far just in the past ten years, I've blown out two sets of car speakers because of these guys! Turn it up and blow 'em up if you have to is what I say. Ohh ya, and old neighbor of mine said his toilet used to shake at its foundations. Asked why he never said anything and he said he didn't want to ruin our fun. I was in my twenties back then and he was in his sixties. Cool guy! This was a great concert. I damn near broke down and cried I was so happy to see the Stooges reformed and playing in front of such a huge crowd. I guess for me the only show that might have beat it was Cincinnati Pop in 1970, but them I do have to emphasize "might".

Undeniable fact: No one after Iggy is as cool as Iggy. A Detroit original. The late 60 & 70s were such a great time for Detroit rock. If an act wasn’t completely original it didn’t get noticed. I remember going to high school dances in the suburbs in the 70s and some bands would play 20 minute instrumentals trying to be artistic.
Every bar had live music at least on weekends. When disco came, a lot of clubs had a band on one floor and disco on another.
What a time to be alive and grow up in Detroit. We could go to Canada without any I’d let alone passport.

Proud to say I was here. Hell yes I was here first row center balcony. The whole level rocking and swaying within a inch of collapse. So much energy in the crowd. Iggy laying it out there, the Asheton Bros killing it and Mike Watts living a dream. Took this super cool chick and later we f^^^t all night long to the Stooges.

Iggy and the Asheton brothers! I bought THE STOOGES in 1969 when I was 12. That album got alot of play. I WANNA BE YOUR DOG and 1969 got played over and over. Iggy and the Stooges changed Rock and their influence was ALL OVER '70s 'Rock! That FLOWER POWER AND PEACE CRAP needed IGGY to stomp on it!! The BASS pro has his trunk of clothes in order, with his CREEM tee shirt. Lester Bang(I don't know what he said about Iggy and the Stooges, but he slammed the Alice Cooper band either about Love It To Death or KILLER) BUT he would have had to retract a bad review of the Stooges because of this shirt! RIP-THE ASHETON BROS(and Lester Bang(and CREEM))!🎸🥁😵🤘

This is one of those rare moments where we can experience as fans uncompromised joy and satisfaction
