My 3 yr old is in love with monster trucks, this was his first show and he was absolutely stoked. This show was great and we saw some awesome new trucks. Cant wait to go again. Also this track was bad ass
I don't know if I agree with Shaker winning freestyle. What do you think? Did they get it right? I'm disappointed Ryan A. had 2 short freestyles in a row now after last weeks undeserving win. Too bad his 2 wheel skills attempt he wanted to do didn't work. Now he'll have to wait till next year to try it.
At the end of the skills challenge, Castro got everyone jacked up about seeing him do a backflip off the ramp during the freestyle. Castro then had a great start to the freestyle with a crazy roll, the crowd got amped and was on the edge of their seats waiting for him to do the backflip--but his truck kept dying and they cut his run short before he could do the backflip. Now the crowd has all this bottled up energy because the backflip never came, that is, until Shaker in the very next run. Finally, the crowd got to see the backflip they were promised and release all that excitement, which translated into a higher than likely deserved score. (I write this with first-hand knowledge 😀)
Sure would be nice to be able to see this instead of the worst track ever made and the same boring ass paperclip racing for the 3rd year in a row, but monster jam doesn't give a shit about the north and will just continue to suck off texas and California all year
