Going on our first cruise on August 28th-fingers crossed that Is as great as we’ve been told.

On Fred Olsen you can speak to someone after check in for dietary requirements, there is a desk at checking where you can go and see them, you can as you said Paul go and speak to the Maitre D when you board

I completely agree about the Liverpool crowd. We did Fred from Liverpool last year and we literally just got off Fred from Dover and it was a completely different atmosphere! Much prefer Liverpool cohort!!

Carol.... in relation to the "business" of health care. We are unfortunately seeing that in Canada too. Our system is much like NHS. No longer are the unit managers nurses but more these days are more business type managers. Keeping the bottom line down.
So sad to see it happening in Canafa too. The NHS is a different beast to what it was. Glad I am out of it!
Same in US. I retired in 2019.

with all the major lines you have tried out witch do you prefer and enjoy going back too ?
They all have so much to offer, the only one we are not planning to go back to at the moment is MSC.
I know some UK cruise companies make it a bit difficult to book with them if you're from North America. Does Fred Olson have that kind of thing or can a Canadianite like myself book with them easily?

Hello Paul & Carole. Really enjoyed this Q& A video- thank you! You mentioned about the speciality restaurant Vasco and that there were 3 menus weekly, so you suggested having a look at these before you booked. I was going to book online before we travel but will probably book once on board now. Do you know if Colours& Tastes restaurant also has a choice of menu? Thank you!

Hello Paul and Carole missed the live phone went off around 4am dark and cold just having my breakfast my wonderful husband has brought it in to me. No ships here in Sydney until October on QE in December.

@@PaulandCaroleLovetoTravel We only have P&O (Aus) they do local cruises to Sth Pacific and Carnival Splendor which are not for us anymore we are old and like a more refined atmosphere we sound like snobs we're not.
@@PaulandCaroleLovetoTravel Did you know P&O is going to cease to exist after March next year Carnival will take the ships over and they will sail under the Carnival flag. P&O are part of our maritime history the Australian part established in the 30s I worked at P&O head office in Sydney in the 60s/70s and Gavin is a fellow P&Oer so we are sad to be taken over by the Americans.
