But in 1989, I saw the movie "Scrooged" (1988) whereupon the ghost of christmas present, a mythical fairy creature played by Carol Kane, beat the absolute fuck out of Bill Murray's Frank Cross character. My comedic radar leapt to 110% because of Carol Kane's unhinged yet on point performance.
