Appreciate the video. For those who are here for replacing the interior door handle, once I took the 3 screws out to remove door panel, your able to swap out that door handle without needing to undue any connections to your controls or completely removing door panel . Just leave everything hanging. Save you the time trying to undue the clips for everything . There’s also 2 little screws that you’ll need to remove for the lock / unlock button . Super fast 5-10 minutes job.

Outstanding. I have to investigate a drivers side door handle that is no longer functioning. I'm rolling the window down to open the door from outside. Very inconvenient. I will investigate the problem, now that I see how to take everything apart. Thank you so much for this invaluable guidance. In today's dystopian environment, we have to find ways to save money. Many thanks from Stewart in sunny northern California.

I haven't had any issues with window controls, but as for the door locks yes my car isn't locking so we have to manually lock it for now. for mine none of the lock buttons work. unlock is ok.
if you can lock with remote or passenger door then your driver side door switch just might be going bad most likely replace switch. or if it's only the passenger side same thing.

My doors dont lock from the button inside but will unlock and my lock and now unlock for the remote doesnt work as well. from what i am hearing it might be a problem with the BCM. either flash will need to be done or worst case new BCM. But that is what i am reading there are other checks that would need to be done before. One issue about the BCM needing a flash is the only place that can do it is Mazda. So they might require them to figure out whats wrong before and that could add up.
