These are great tips. Another big one......find the easiest bump run that's available. Ski it until you're just about bored with it, then move on to the steeper stuff. I'm always surprised by people that really don't know what they're doing, and then pack it in early because they say it's too hard. Get a good rhythm on gentle bumps with a shallow pitch first.
I think this is great advice. I remember having a lot of trouble in the bumps myself early on. Then I found a really gentle bump run at a resort. Since it wasn't as steep as the other ones I had been attempting, I was going more slowly. And because of that, for the first time, I finally had the confidence to "commit" to the next bump again and again and again.
Robert Cabrera Slalom race skis are great and versatile in bumps. Get a consumer model at the length you'd ski it on the groomed and you'll probably be happy.
Yeah, umm... Slalom skis would work, but mogul skis are very straight (the antithesis of slalom skis), and thin (also not slalom). As for length, 170cm is world cup standard, although for younger/learners it can be shorter

Honestly, I found that side view to be absolutely beautiful skiing. Truly, an art

Amazing video. The thing I liked most is that the guy really showed what might happen to you while skiing bumps at 1:26 )) Well done!

Cool ...
"...ski the valley's or the troughs."
Are they 2 different things?
Xena Jada No, just two different words to describe them. He should have expressed that better.
