Have you tried any of these before? What technique was your favourite?
I love KF Concept filters and bags! I need to get some in 55mm ASAP for my Viltrox Z mount lenses. I use Cinebloom's as well but they don't make them in 55mm 😭 but oh well. Oh, and Urth filters are rad too.
I honestly couldn't afford to buy those filters, they would be really useful🙏 now I have some cheap ones and they just don't seem to work
filters are just garbage and ruining the image quality. i am shooting only raw 🤓🤓🤓
@@MohammadEhsanYousaf you say ruining, I say manipulating.
I tried the one in a crowded area to make the people or vehicles disappear. Wasn’t very successful, but I assume o need a darker VND
Just got my first camera, a Sony NEX 5N and I'm keen to try long exposure shots of waterfalls. I would love to use a two in one variable ND filter + circular polarizer 😜
I recently got into photography and bought my first full frame camera. I've gotten into aviation photography and I'd adore a 95mm circular polerizer for my rf800 f/11 to make the sky pop and get a cleaner view of the cockpit!
Hi, all these filters are amazing and I really like the variable ND Filter, because I am mainly a nature and landscaping photography guy. I tried long exposure photos but they did not turn out very well. Now I know why🙂
I’d love the veritable nd filter because they can be helpful when shooting with flash outdoors if you don’t want to use high speed sync. On many strobes, high speed sync uses more battery while simultaneously reducing effective flash output. A veritable nd filter would help keep me in the normal flash sync speed range while outside and get a lower aperture to get some shallower depth of field.
I love how smooth all the transitions are here! I can really see the improvements from video to video
I've been eyeing an ND filter, specifically the 72mm variant for my Viltrox RF85mm lens. I'm all about that portraiture life, and when it comes to shooting in High-Speed Sync (HSS) Indoors or Outdoors. I'm on the lookout for a quality ND filter that not only fits my lens but also complements my shooting style. A variable ND filter could provide that extra flexibility to fine-tune the exposure without swapping filters constantly.
I recently started doing video work, so an nd filter greatly help me reduce the unnatural motion of shooting at high shutter speeds while keeping the aperture wide open, but I think that photography wise, I could try to do some Timelapse’s with long exposure takes of moon rises/sets in my city.
I have never used filters before, so I am open to trying new things. I usually shoot landscape and I think the 2 in 1 ND and CPL filter would offer a lot of variability as far as trying new skills.
The 2-in-1 VND + CPL filter is sick. Could open up so many possibilities on both photo and video fronts!
I’ve recently got into photography and already love it. I still need to learn quite much and your videos are a perfect inspiration. In my case I would love to try out the 2-1 combo to explore what’s possible in both worlds
So one thing i love is your teaching style and ever since i saw you with Teppo i was drawn to how we still can get someone who has lessons one can use. Thank you for your work 😋🙏. Also love the 2 in 1 CPL + ND for the technique of slowing down the shutter and shooting video in slow shutters.😊👌
Absolutely love the 2 in 1 for landscape long exposure.
I’ve recently gotten into photography, and your channel has been hugely helpful in learning basic as well as more advanced techniques. A variable ND filter for my 18-55mm would add the flexibility I’m looking for and be nothing shy of amazing for travel and architecture shots.
Your videos are always so relaxing and helpful. Been into cars and sports so the cpl nd 2in1 is what id go for to experiment with some new techniques.
I’d love the variable ND! Shooting waterfalls is one of my favorite things to do with photography, and a solid ND filter is a must.
Loved all the filters, and i loved the variable ND filter because it's so much helpful in many situations in my video work, and K&F products are so much handy
I love the K&F Circular polariser and nd 2 in 1, I'd definitely be using that to up my landscape photography game!
Great video with some super useful tips.
The 2 in 1 vnd + cpl sounds like one of the best inventions ever! There’s so much I would do with it, like long exposure for landscape, reducing reflections from cars, and especially for video to get a noice aperture
Im all about Time lapse and long exposure but havent heard of these tricks. Its very cool that these tricks go against the laws of normal photography... Make everything dark as possible and bump down the Fstop 4 slots. That would literally kill a professor of photography, instant heart attack. I finally see why motion blur is so important in stop motion animations, what a difference that makes. Thanks for the new inspiration and tricks
I did not know ND filters were that pricey. I do some cool things with my old, cheap Dslr but I will not be darkening anything wth a filter, Oouuch that hurt
I love my Fuji X-E2 which I got a decade ago as a gift. Since the lenses are so darn expensive I've never bought any others, or filters, or much else. I love taking it with me on hikes and trips as it lets me enjoy the moments rather than getting sucked into my phone.
Love the channel!
I'd love to try the Polariser when walking in nature, taking pictures of deer or foxes in the Dutch dunes. The effect looks great in this video!
The 2 in 1 ND filter is great
I'm very new to photography, and you are one of the first creators I've seen explain things about photography in both an entertaining and understandable way. The filter I'm most interested in is that vnd+cpl filter, it seems very versatile and I'm interested in doing some sort of nature photography so that filter would be a great filter for use outdoors
I like the 2nd one as it fully fills my need for product photography as it removes unwanted reflection from my photos and really wants to get that variable ND filter 😊
THOSE ND FILTERS ARE ALWAYS CRAAAZY USEFUL!
I had last than a year doing wedding photography and I'm completely in love with this world, the 2in1 filter would be perfect for nice shots in my events, photos and videos🎉
Love the hard work putting out all these videos! Ive learned so much. Would love the 2-in-1 ND Filter! Definitely want to start doing time lapses and creating photos with more motion! Thanks man!
Variable ND Filter! Going to use it in downtown NYC over Christmas for some street photography!
Happy to finally see one of my favorite creators use K&F filters. They've always been my go to filter brand. I really need a stronger ND filter than my 2-in-1 CPL and VND 2-32 cause I'm getting into videography more and more.
Hey Anthony, I’ve been looking to get into doing long exposures during the day so the ND1000 would be an awesome tool to have in my arsenal. Showing the movement of everyday life is something that I’ve been trying to capture for a while now.
Thanks for the informative information!
Im at lot newer to photography, and Ive never had the opportunity to use an vnd+cpl filter, so that would just be an awesome. Ive been really trying get into outdoor/landscape photography, and absolutely love how much of a help these videos have been!
Hi Anthony!
All filters sound really amazing! But if I had to choose I would go for the 2 in 1 ND and CPL filter.
I mostly shoot landscape and maybe a bit of wildlife photography. I already used ND and CPL filters in some of them but it’s a hassle with so many different filters especially when you’re travelling.
The combined filters would really make a difference I think to get even better photos
I love the 2 in 1 super versatile. As a beginner in auto sports photography it would help me take long exposures photos, while still being able to remove reflections from cars. 😊
I love this!
This video reminded me why I first got filters in the first place; it was to experiment with my photography.
Sometimes I wish I forget how to take pics because that's when my imagination was at its maximum.
Great video as always.
i loved the variable ND filter to use indoors for architecture photography!!
Ever since before I actually got my camera, long exposures have always caught my eye. Making light trails, making water look foggy, making interesting portraits with movement. That all is what i would love to do with a 77mm variable ND filter for my 35-150mm lens
The 2 in 1 filter is amazing
I would love to have it for street and car photography!
Great video! Lots of valuable information. Right now my needs go to the 1 to 5 stops ND for indoor architectural photography. Thank you.
I'm new to photography and have never used filters like these so that 2in1 ND filter looks awesome to use. I like doing street photography your videos have been really helpful in understanding the basics. Thanks
THE SECOND ONE IS MY FAVORITE
I’m actually new to photography. I always loved taking photos but I didn’t have a camera until recently, so I don’t have that much experience, but I’m learning a lot and getting the camera was the best decision I could’ve made for myself.
I think I would choose the variable ND filter because I can see how it could be more versatile for both outdoor and indoor photography. Also, next month there’s a big national holiday in my country with parades and light shows and I can’t wait to go and shoot some photos. It would be interesting to see how a filter makes a difference in those kind of complex light scenarios!
Thank you for being an inspiration to all of us and for offering us this opportunity!
I've used a variety of ND filters over the past few years. Including stacking ND1000 with ND4 or ND8 to take long exposure images especially of moving water. Enjoy the smoothing effect the filters bring when shooting at 2 minutes plus.
I am really impressed by the effects from the K&F Circular polariser and the nd 2 in 1, already know the variable nd filter and I love the options it gives my. I’m watching your video’s for a little while now and find them really helpful at getting better at photography. Thanks for your video’s Anthony, and keep on going.
The 2-1 looks like it would be really fun for the sport photography I’m looking to do. I can’t wait to see what could be done with it
The 2in1 nd filter is something I would use constantly in my landscape photography. I love a good long exposure 😊
I would LOVE the cpl filter…I mostly shoot landscapes but have recently started with Motorsport photography and I think the help with reflections and saturation this filter offers would be monumental!
I love the K&F nd 2 in 1, I'd definitely be using that to up my filmmaking game!
Great video with some awesome tips.
I really like how you used the variable ND filter to make these cool effects for street photography. Definetly something to try out
I would love to try the combo variable ND / circular polarizer. I love shooting outside and think it would be cool to play around with time-lapse photography like what you showed as well as see how much of a difference the polarizer has on color in the sky and subject. Great demo!
The 82mm VND + CPL is such an amazing combo tbh. Typically shoot product, but would love to be able to do so outdoors with reflections and glare minimized
If I was to choose one I would probably go either the variable ND filter. I've always loved landscape photography and just being out in nature. I would definitely use it for waterfalls that I have around where I live. Thank you for you content and I always enjoy learning more from your videos.
I photograph Cross Country races for my school on my Nikon D3500 and a lot of the time I get unwanted reflections from the grass and shine on people's skin. Especially because I shoot at a low f-stop to get the racers in focus while giving the background a soft blur. A circular polarizer would be a great way to fix these issues and enhance my sports photography. On the other hand at night I have been experimenting with light trails. An issue that has come up with doing light trails at night, is that a lot of cool locations in my area are only open during the day. I looked into daytime light painting, and saw that a neutral density filter is essential. Then I watched this video and learned to my surprise that a 2 in 1 circular polarizer and variable neutral density filter exists!!! My mind was blown!!!
I love the ND+CPL filter, I think is super useful for everything I like to do: lanscape, cars, weddings, etc. in photo and video
Been doing photography for nearly a year now on ultra low budget, using a canon 4000d used with my only other lens being a f1.8 which I thankfully got gifted, also used. I would love those lens filters to help step up my photography to the next level, if I had to choose just one filter I would love an variable ND as my passion is definitely those blurry background portraits but ofc a 2 in 1 Is amazing if possible
I tried a lot of techniques. My most favorite is the variable ND filter, for smooth cloud and water landscape.
I’ve never tried any of these! I just got my first camera and I’m absolutely in love! Your videos are so helpful! And love your tiktoks 😊
I love the variable ND filter, just started getting in photography and use the cannon eos rebel t7, I mainly do landscapes and sports photography
I was actually planning to get a cpl filter to shoot some street photography and urban life. So my choice would be the cpl filter
Variable nd filter is my favorite and I use it for wedding films
I really like the variable ND! I could really use this for landscape photography, specifically making water look like silky milk! Great video as always by the way :)
Honestly this video has opened my eyes to a new perspective of photography. I have a trip to North America planned, and the Variable ND filter would be fantastic to use for waterfall photography. I've got a 67mm diamater lens by the way! A fantastic video, as always Anthony!
The ND1000 filter would be a HUGE upgrade for my Photography! I live in a small, beautiful city but there's so much tourism here, I can't get a single shot without distracting people in it. So blurring these out with a high-density ND filter would be awesome!
I like the Circular Polarizer Filter. My friend got it and I was stunned by how dramatic difference it makes. I would use it especially for portraits.
Excellent video on how to use the different types of filters! For me personally the variable ND filter would be the most useful for giving me more control over the fstop I am aiming for outside on sunny days.
2 in 1 vnd/cpl sounds crazy! I’m still learning an doing a lot of travel / landscape photography!
Very informative and great examples, easy to follow and see results. I am looking for CPL filters for the first time especially for more architecture photography and I have been experimenting with timelapses or sequencing photos together. I would go for the separate filters that can stack personally but im more interested in the CPL at the moment.
I would love to up my photography game with filters! Can't go wrong with the 2in1.
Great video I’ve never watched you but now gonna watch you more! I loved how you explained it all and gave very well taken examples! I definitely would want the circular polarizer, I’m working on becoming a nature and extreme sports photographer a cinematographer and would love to have one in my arsenal!
Great video! I would probably go for the 2 in 1 filter. This would definitely help with car photos and video when shooting mid day as it will help with exposure and cut out reflections.
Hi Anthony, All the filters mentioned in the video are great for photography. If I had to choose only one of the filters, that would definitely be the 2 in 1 Variable ND with CPL filter.
There are a lot of reasons to choosing this filter:
1. No more hassling with stacking multiple filters (hence avoiding the possible vignette if shooting on ultra-wide angle lenses).
2. Variable elements allow fine tuning the exposure and polarizing effect, so that I can set up the best low-noise exposure for shooting landscape and cityscape during the preciously short golden hour.
3. The slightly thicker filter ring from the 2-in1 structure makes putting the filter onto lens thread much easier especially when I am wearing gloves during the winter season.
Thank You for the informative video!
I would really benefit from the variable nd filter, super useful for photographing water and landscape.
Big hands for all great work you do 🙌🏻 and i would prefer the circular polarizer to use for landscape photography
I’m an intermediate photographer from Japan, I’m still a junior high school student, but I am very serious about photography, when I start high school I hope to get a part time job so I could buy a new camera.
although English is my second language and I’m not very used to it I love watching your videos 😅 いつもありがとうございます
I gotta go with the Circular Polariser. I'm still learning and think that would be a great start to my wildlife and outdoor photography journey 📸
Just recently I just nailed down my absolute dream job working with small remote communities in gorgeous remote landscape areas. It would be incredible to use some of these filters for some of the shots and videos I will be creating. The lens that sparks my interest the most is the ND variable filter ! Love how you break down everything and show your process ! Learned a lot from the video as I have never tried filters before but totally up to learn now !
Would love the variable 2 in 1 filter!
The variable ND filter might be the most useful for me. I have a ND1000 K&F already, but sometimes it’s too dark in certain scenarios. I’d probably use it mostly for long exposure photography.
Anthony! I don’t do a lot of long exposures but definitely enjoy using Variable ND filters for videos. They’re extremely helpful.
I've been getting into a lot of automotive photography lately so that CPL Filter is something I have been looking at getting.
Would love the variable ND filter!
Would love the variable ND filter... I live by the ocean, so capturing the dynamic, slightly blurred waves would make for unique landscapes.
I am 12 years old and is a photographer I have just got my first camera I mostly shoot nature and agriculture photography and would love to take some long exposure pictures the next summer were I am in Japan for the first time but in general I would love the 2 in 1 circular lenses filter.
Your videos have taught me things about photography I you and your photos have been so inspirational 🙏🙏
I was super impressed with K&F variable ND and CPL filter, that is the one I would go for.
I would love to go take sunset landscape photos.
The filter would make the pictures have so much more depth and detail!
The 2 in 1 ND and CPL filter is definitely something in my area of photography, I love doing landscapes/nature and occasionally the bird here or there if I can catch them in time or if they dont see me and are standing still. I bought some for my older camera but with an update to the R7 (shortly after seeing your CZcams short omg) I haven't gone into buy any new filters just yet.
Hi Antony,
All the filter looks amazing but I would go for the 2 in 1 ND and CPL filter. I mostly shoot sunsets and architecture during my trip. I’ve wanted to get these filters but I don’t got the budget for it. Thank you for the opportunity you gave us !
Wassup Anthony! Dope video love learning new things from you. Honestly any of those filters sounds awesome to use and get creative with, hopefully I’m lucky enough to try them!
As a newer photographer, I love watching your content. I would go with the CPL filter. I just moved from the US to Portugal and have been doing a lot of landscape photography lately.
The VND + CPL would be my top pick because I'm a new photographer I wouldn't mind sacraficing quality for creative freedom and the ability to explore new ideas. I would most likely use this for car photography, especially the CPL part of the filter to remove reflection off the car windows.
Amazing video! Lots of great and useful information that I will definitely keep in mind when I go out again! I would go with a CPL as I like to shoot a lot of landscapes (and a lot of lakes) so it would be very beneficial in my kit.
ND1000 for waterfall and city 🔥🔥🔥
hi Anthony, personally i would choose the 2 in one nd and cpl because it allows for me to not have to switch between filters often, and i would use it mostly for car photography because i’ve started to get into it with my d200
The K&F polariser plus ND is a game changer!! I'd love to use it for car photography 🔥
I love that Variable ND Filter. Would be perfect for my range of shooting including Motorsports in different conditions.
Will love to get the CPL and ND 2 in 1 for cars and long exposure photography, to be honest was looking for filters and this video just popped out. A lot of good tips, love your vids and keep up the good work.
I would love the 2 in 1 filter. I would be using it for landscape and cityscape photography.
Love the fixed nd filter would 💯 be using it for some more street photography!
New to photography, but finding a have been leaning towards landscapes, cityscapes, urban/architecture photography, the 2 in 1 (CPL/ND) Filter would be amazing! I also love long exposures…night or day.
I also love the K&F circular polariser, I love to take landscape photography like sunsets and sunrises.
