I went out Tuesday and today to the pond. I caught 18 in the two days, biggest was 3.10 Tuesday 3.9 today in 45ft on shakeyhead. Rest caught in 10-30ft all on shakeyhead. I looked typical areas prespawn, docks in coves, points and banks. Still looking for 4lb fish.

Thats really good! the lake is fishing really well despite all of the changing conditions. try a little bit shallower but in the same areas and you will have a great chance at catching a 4. stick with it and the 4 lber will come. there are plenty of them on this lake.

What part of the lake was you on?

That particular video was on the south end of the lake below the bridge.

With Lanier being such a large body of water do you prioritize a certain section of water?

great question! not at all if i am just trying to catch fish. certain areas of the lake can definitely fish better at certain times of the year but most of the time you can catch fish lake wide. just break down the area of the lake you are fishing based on the time of year you are fishing and you will catch fish. stay tuned for Monday's video and i break down sections of the lake based specifically on pre-spawn. if i was fishing a tournament i would stay below the bridge.
